The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that the infamous Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) could be John ‘Finn’ Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) mother and will soon be seen again on B&B.
A report showed that Brown was filming at B&B’s studios on April 30. Soaps record on advanced schedules, with shot scenes being broadcast as part of episodes approximately 4-6 weeks after filming.
Fans last saw Sheila in 2018. Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) thwarted Sheila’s attempt to replace her in Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) life three years ago. Brown’s character engaged in a physical confrontation with Quinn, with Sofer’s character surprisingly overpowering the notorious daytime villain.
Digitally skipping to 2021, Sheila will be returning while Queric’s marriage is collapsing. But the real draw back to Los Angeles, California, could be Sheila’s connection to John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – John ‘Finn’ Finnegan’s Backstory Is Open
Finn has rarely spoken about his past. He did offer Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) his mother’s wedding ring during the memorably beautiful Sinn engagement event, which happened in the backyard at the cliff house.
That was coupled with the news that Steffy’s expectant baby was his and not Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton).
If Finn’s mother is assumed dead, then there are needles that can be threaded that links him to Sheila. One of them involves Finn knowing that she was his mother and simply assuming that she died in 2007, when Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) killed her on The Young and the Restless.
Bregman’s character crossed over to B&B in the 1990s and remained in LA for a number of years before returning to Y&R.
Hardcore fans know that Michelle Stafford (Sheila and Phyllis Summers) was playing a dual role in 2007, with Brown having departed the cast a year earlier. The person claiming to be Sheila was said to have had radical plastic surgery, which made her intentionally look like Phyllis as part of a revenge plot.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Sheila Carter Had Finn, An Unknown Child?
Sheila is known to have had three daughters and one son, Ryder Callahan (Wilson Bethel), who was Tom Fisher’s (Roscoe Born) child. So, Sheila may have had twin boys with Tom and gave one up for adoption, or Finn could be an unknown fraternal twin of one of her daughters.
Another option is that Sheila simply gave birth to Finn, with that part of her backstory not being told until now. He could have been stolen from her at birth. That was a tactic she employed against Lauren.
It has seemed like B&B was intentionally keeping Finn’s personal history as a mystery in order to fill in the blanks at later points in the plot. So, Sheila’s return could be written as a way to connect these characters.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester’s Terrible Mother-in-Law?
Imagine if Steffy is carrying Sheila’s grandchild? Also consider whether Finn has been masking a dark side of his personality, with Sheila’s genetics potentially revealing him as a threat to everyone.
Eric’s grandchild could have Carter blood. That could serve as a plausible way for he and Sheila to reform their personal connection, as they were married in the mid 1990s. Quinn would obviously be tied into this reveal as well.
Also, Sheila brushed off what B&B’s characters thought they knew about her other persona in Genoa City, Wisconsin. She said that the stories they heard weren’t true.
Another outcome of Sheila’s return could mean that this character crosses back to The Young and the Restless. Shiela Carter could also cross back and forth, as a number of characters from both Y&R and B&B recently did.
