The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, October 18, tease that Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will be miserable after Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) chooses Eric Forrester (John McCook). Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will also realize he has to put up a fierce fight for Katie Logan (Heather Tom), so viewers will see some heartbreak with a dash of hope.
Despite Carter’s heartfelt plea to run away together, Quinn just won’t be willing to leave Eric behind. She’ll assure Carter that she loves him, but love won’t be enough to walk away from her marriage.
Quinn loves Eric as well and knows he needs her right now. She won’t want to bail on Eric while he’s dealing with ED or any other time for that matter.
Things are complicated right now, but Quinn will be committed to rebuilding her future with Eric.
That means Carter will be left to sulk once Quinn insists they’re done permanently. Quinn and Carter will share an emotional goodbye before she returns to the Forrester mansion.
Carter will find a kindred spirit to lean on at some point this week, so at least he’ll be able to commiserate with someone.
Meanwhile, Katie will be wary of opening her heart to Bill again – even just the crack he’s begging for.
Every time Katie reunites with Bill, she ends up devastated and feeling like she’s second best. How can Katie believe things will end differently this time around?
Bill will push Katie to take a leap of faith with him, but it’ll become clear that his speeches aren’t going to convince her – no matter how passionate they may be.
The challenge will be to up the ante and make Katie see that trust is indeed possible again.
B&B fans will see Bill go the extra mile to win Katie over, but he can’t do it alone.
Look for Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to become part of Bill’s reunion plan within the next couple episodes.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will put it all on the line as he fights for the woman he loves, but only Katie can decide her romantic fate.
