This person must be a pretty big deal since the show’s gone to great lengths to keep him or her quiet. They obviously want to preserve the surprise as long as they can and deliver a fun return shocker.
It’s interesting that B&B chose to highlight Hope’s role as a mother to Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) in the September 23 episode – not too long before this mysterious visitor’s set to show up.
Hope thanked Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) for sharing his son with her in some heartfelt scenes.
Thomas was glad he chose Hope to step up and be Douglas’ new mother. There was also talk about how happy Hope is, which tends to be a tell-tale sign on soaps that everything is about to come crashing down.
The show really laid it on thick when it came to Hope’s happiness and how all is right in her little world now.
There’s no confirmation on who’s set to return just yet, but the show’s delivered the perfect setup for Douglas’ biological mother to reenter the picture and shake things up.
It’d really turn Hope’s world upside down if Caroline Spencer (last played by Linsey Godfrey) turned out to be alive after all.
Caroline might demand her son back, which would affect Hope’s co-parenting situation with Thomas as well as her family bliss with Liam.
Of course, it’s possible the show will swing this storyline in another direction entirely, but this mystery comeback is definitely going to bring some good stuff!
