The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Caroline Spencer (last played by Linsey Godfrey) could be alive since we know a mystery character set to threaten Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) family will be revealed. Let’s consider some clues about a possible back-from-the-dead storyline.
Caroline was killed off following complications from a blood clot – or so fans were told!
It’s not like we ever saw a dead body to corroborate that, so the door’s wide open for a rewrite here. With that in mind, we should mull over some fall preview hints.
Someone mysterious will reenter the picture and create some challenges for Hope’s family with Liam. This person’s return will bring a real bombshell and spark a new round of drama.
The focus is definitely on the “Lope” family angle in B&B spoilers, so this is something that could affect the life Liam and Hope have with their children.
Why is the show being so mysterious – and why will this person’s return be so shocking?
Could it be because they’re preserving the surprise of a major character returning from the dead? If they want someone who could blow up Hope and Liam’s family in a big way, it’d be Caroline!
Hope adopted Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) and loves him as if he were her own flesh and blood. She’s successfully co-parenting Douglas with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) – and Liam certainly loves Douglas as his stepson, too.
Everything is going well in this custody arrangement, so now’s the perfect time to shake things up by having Douglas’ true mother return.
It’d be devastating for Hope to give up the mommy title and could even lead to a custody battle between the dueling moms.
That’s especially true if there are questions about Caroline’s mental stability – and there could be if she faked her death and stayed away by choice.
Of course, it’s also possible Thomas drove Caroline to it with his previously crazy behavior. There’s even a chance Thomas has a buried secret involving Caroline’s time in captivity.
Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) hurled himself in front of a car as a way to frame Liam and push Hope in Thomas’ direction, so there’s nothing too wild for B&B!
It seems like the show’s been willing to take more risks and push the envelope lately, so we wouldn’t put it past them to explain away Caroline’s death and bring her back.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say a mysterious character will indeed return and do some damage to the “Lope” family, so stay tuned to see if it’ll be Caroline Spencer or someone else.
