The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) may have a change of heart on Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) but not Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) – leaving Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) appalled over the hypocrisy.
Ridge is already being a bit of a hypocrite by refusing to let Brooke compare Deacon and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). Taylor shot Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), so we can’t pretend this woman didn’t have some major issues once upon a time!
If Taylor can be rehabilitated to the point where she’s basically superwoman now, surely Deacon can be rehabilitated enough to be in Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) life.
Of course, Ridge doesn’t see it that way and thinks Deacon is lowlife scum while Taylor is a perfect angel.
Ridge is complaining about Brooke’s refusal to listen regarding Deacon, but he’s refusing to listen to her own reminders about her complicated history with Taylor.
Things may get even worse after Taylor urges Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) to let Sheila bond with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
Sheila will be allowed at Steffy’s Christmas gathering at the cliff house, so this could be the beginning of what Sheila’s been begging for.
Since the holiday get-together will go well, Taylor may convince Steffy that it’d be a gift for Finn and Sheila to form a true connection. Finn could grow to resent Steffy if she doesn’t step back and let this happen.
Naturally, Taylor’s advice could leave Brooke fuming – especially since “Doc” may convince Ridge to tolerate Sheila’s presence around Steffy and the children.
Ridge may not be 100-percent supportive, but he might think he has to trust Taylor’s opinion as a therapist and someone who has Steffy’s best interests at heart.
B&B’s goal here certainly seems to be putting Ridge and Taylor back together as a couple. With that in mind, they can’t have Ridge getting too upset with Taylor and standing against her on things.
That also means they’ll have to find a way to spin this so that Ridge can get on board with Sheila while still hating Deacon’s guts – and Brooke will have every right to call out that hypocrisy!
