The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) should have a reason to be grateful to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) soon.
B&B fans know Thomas has developed suspicions about Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) and the possibility that he tampered with the paternity test results for Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby.
So far, Thomas hasn’t divulged his exact suspicions to Hope, Steffy, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) or John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). Some fans might think Thomas should’ve piped up the second he had a hunch about trouble.
However, it’s easy to understand why Thomas would keep quiet until he could be reasonably sure.
Thomas certainly doesn’t want to get Hope and Steffy’s hopes up about the kid actually belonging to Finn if it isn’t true. Vinny and Thomas also go way back as friends, so Thomas needs to be certain before he starts spreading accusations.
This is a huge deal – and that’s why Thomas won’t be able to let it go during the week of March 8-12.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will corner Vinny to demand the truth once again. Vinny’s repeated denials just won’t be believable to Thomas, so he’ll work to get to the real story of what happened in the lab.
After Finn finds Thomas and Vinny arguing, it’ll lead to the true “baby daddy” bombshell finally coming out.
Later, Thomas will bring Hope up to speed on his heated confrontation with Vinny and presumably the revelation it led to. Once Hope gets updates on Finn being the father instead of Liam, she should appreciate the work Thomas put in to uncover the truth.
The fact that Thomas will choose honesty instead of secrecy is important.
This will hopefully prove to Hope that Thomas was serious about being a changed man. The old Thomas would’ve embraced Vinny’s move as a gift or perhaps even tampered with the results himself!
That Thomas is gone and a new-and-improved one will be standing before Hope in his place.
Since Liam and Hope will inevitably still face challenges in their marriage, Thomas may still get a shot with Hope after all. Will doing the right thing pay off? It could set the stage for Thomas and Hope’s friendship to strengthen as Hope trusts him more and more.
The trust between Hope and Liam has shattered, so it may be Thomas who Hope is drawn to – even after Steffy’s baby is confirmed as Finn’s. Thomas could have a chance at a meaningful relationship with Hope that isn’t doomed by secrets and manipulation.
