The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 2, reveals that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) tempted Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) with a passionate reminder while John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) praised Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). Here’s how all Thursday’s B&B action went down.

Although Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) wasn’t attacking or accusing Brooke, he was concerned about Deacon using Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) emotions to get to her. Ridge begged Brooke to tell him there was “no way in hell” she still had feelings for Deacon. Brooke reminded Ridge that she already told him she didn’t.

Even so, Ridge could see that Deacon’s plan was working and was dreading the heartache that was coming next. He didn’t want that for any of them.

Ridge brought up Brooke’s old betrayal of Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) again, so Brooke wondered if he was trying to hurt her by bringing this up over and over. Ridge countered that he didn’t want Deacon to hurt Brooke or Hope ever again.

Brooke reflected on the shame she lived through and pointed out Ridge was with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) back then. She wanted to stop dredging this up, but Ridge was trying to remind Brooke of who Deacon was. Ridge intended to do whatever it took to protect the family.

In Sheila’s hotel room, Deacon showed up complaining about not being able to find a job or place of his own. He was also strapped for cash, but Sheila didn’t feel sorry for him since Hope let Deacon into her life.

Sheila grumbled that she couldn’t go anywhere near Finn thanks to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Deacon had enough problems of his own and questioned if Ridge really thought he had some sort of strange hold on Hope and Brooke.

Sheila ranted about Finn’s “Rottweiler of a wife” trying to run her out of town – and Deacon admitted it was the same for him with Ridge. When Sheila suggested taking action, Deacon warned he wasn’t going to team up with her again. Sheila just meant they needed a way to throw Steffy and Ridge off kilter. She hinted that she already had an idea brewing.

After Ridge got a phone notification back at home, Brooke pushed him to go deal with that. Ridge assured Brooke of his love and gave her a kiss before he headed out. As for Brooke, she had a steamy flashback of Deacon before Deacon himself arrived to see her.

Deacon admitted he waited until Ridge left, so Brooke asked what Deacon was doing there. He just wanted to thank Brooke for not standing in the way of his relationship with Hope.

Deacon suggested everything he dreamt of when he was locked up was starting to come true. He’d be lying if he said part of that dream wasn’t seeing Brooke, too.

Deacon hated to complicate things and bring up difficult memories, but he pointed out there were some amazing memories, too. He thought the attraction was “nuts” back then – like this chemical thing that they couldn’t fight anymore.

Deacon hadn’t forgotten one moment of that passionate connection. “Tell me it’s the same for you. Tell me you haven’t forgotten either,” Deacon said as Brooke stared at him intensely.

At Forrester Creations, Finn talked to Steffy about how Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) was holding up and wondered how he could ever trust Jack Finnegan (Ted King) again. Finn wasn’t ready to talk to Jack, especially if he was just going to offer the same old excuses.

After Steffy mentioned Jack’s affair, Finn said Sheila pushed his father to come clean according to Li. Steffy wondered why Sheila didn’t confess herself, but Finn thought Sheila probably wanted it to come from Jack. He seemed touched to know Sheila was advocating for his best interests.

Steffy thought Finn was giving Sheila too much credit and felt she only did things that benefited her. Finn wasn’t defending his birth mom, but he implied that maybe Sheila’s heart was in the right place just this once. Steffy knew Finn had a lot to sort out, but she warned him not to let Sheila fill the void and take advantage of the situation.

In Finn’s office later, Sheila showed up disguised in scrubs and a surgical mask. She wanted to make sure Finn was OK now that Jack had revealed the truth.

At Ill Giardino, Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) fished to find out who Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) original lunch date was. Carter eventually admitted it was Katie Logan (Heather Tom), but he didn’t seem hopeful about that turning into much. He acknowledged the complex situation since Katie was Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) ex and felt he kept picking women who weren’t truly available.

Carter thought he should take a look in the mirror and realize the common denominator in his failed relationships was him. Paris wasn’t buying that and praised him for being a great guy who wasn’t bad to look at either. She knew Carter would find the right woman to build a life with and would fall madly in love.
