The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 24, reveals that Eric Forrester (John McCook) erectile dysfunction bomb rocked Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) while Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) praised Jack Finnegan (Ted King) for being honest throughout the rest of their marriage with the exception of his one blunder.
At home on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wished she didn’t have to leave John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and the kids for this San Francisco trip – especially since she was uneasy over Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) being out there somewhere.
Finn insisted they could break the cycle and urged Steffy not to worry. He argued it’d be good for Steffy to focus on work for a while and pointed out that Sheila was gone.
Steffy asked if Finn was sure they’d be OK while she was out of town, so he promised that Steffy and the kids were his priority. Finn understood how critical it was to keep Sheila far away and kissed Steffy goodbye before sending her off.
In Sheila’s room, she thought back to the deal she pushed Jack to accept. Jack was also mulling over that deal when Li found him looking pensive in their hotel suite.
Li assumed this was about Finn’s birth mother, but she felt Jack had been truthful throughout their entire marriage – except for not telling her Sheila approached him when Finn was a baby.
Although Li wasn’t thrilled about that, she could forgive it and knew Jack was just trying to protect his family.
Jack suggested he was just now realizing how unstable Sheila really is, but he assured Li that she didn’t have to be concerned. He felt so lucky that Li had agreed to be his wife all those years ago, so Li thought Jack was cute when he got mushy.
After Li stepped away, Jack got a text from Sheila reminding him to arrange that family visit if he wanted his secret kept under wraps.
Back in Sheila’s room, a hotel employee showed up and confirmed that Sheila was extending her stay.
He assumed Sheila had a date, so she played along and suggested it was with a much younger “little guy” she hadn’t met before.
Once Sheila was alone, she imagined bouncing Hayes Forrester Finnegan around in her arms and telling her grandson she loved him. “You’re better make it happen, Jack…or else,” Sheila said ominously.
At the cliff house again, Jack showed up and told Finn he was confident that Sheila would soon be out of their lives.
Finn was confused since he thought Sheila was already gone, but Jack explained that he spoke to Sheila and got through to her “to some degree.”
Jack added that Sheila agreed to leave town on the condition that she see Finn once more and be able to hold her grandson.
At the Forrester mansion, Eric apologized to Quinn for falling asleep before they could take their reunion to the bedroom.
Quinn suggested they’d get another chance tonight, but Eric nervously explained there was something he should’ve told her before he asked her to live with him again.
Eric insisted Quinn was an incredibly passionate and beautiful woman. He didn’t want Quinn feeling undesirable because he always wanted her, but he couldn’t physically do it because he had erectile dysfunction.
Eric felt humiliated making this confession, but Quinn just seemed worried and touched Eric’s face tenderly.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn will hope she can give Eric the support he needs, so stay tuned.
