The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, July 20, reveals that Quinn Forrester’s (Rena Sofer) dress was spotted on Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) video chat – though who it belonged to remained a mystery to the Forresters. Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) also showed off some baby magic, so here’s what went down on Tuesday’s B&B episode.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was hopeful the article that said Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) was his co-CEO hadn’t officially come out yet.
Brooke posed the question of how Ridge would feel if it were true, but he made it clear Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wasn’t stepping down and would keep doing a great job.
Brooke pointed out that they did have a discussion about her taking on a more important role. With Eric stepping back from his responsibilities a bit, Brooke thought she could fill in while Steffy was gone.
Brooke suggested it’d be fun to run the company with Ridge like Eric and Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) did.
At Carter’s loft, Quinn remained all tangled up with her lover.
Quinn acknowledged that every time she tried to head for the door, they just landed in a different position. Quinn knew this couldn’t be forever and refused to let Carter ruin his second chance for her.
Suddenly, a call came in with the ringtone Carter set for Eric. Carter needed to take it, but Quinn didn’t expect it to be a video chat and had to jump out of the way to avoid being seen.
Eric saw that Carter was half-dressed and wondered if he was in the middle of something. Carter claimed he’d had a brief workout. Since he was working from home, Carter thought he would just “get it in.”
Eric wanted Carter at the office to discuss the divorce and some details pertaining to the jewelry line. He also wanted Carter to send Quinn and her attorney a letter to let them know Carter would be representing him.
Eric just wanted to put all this ugliness behind him and knew that’s what Carter wanted, too.
Ridge eventually noticed a dress draped over the sofa and joked about it not looking like it’d fit Carter. A nervous and embarrassed Carter admitted it wasn’t his, so Ridge said it was none of his business.
After Eric hung up with Carter, he commented on that being awkward. Brooke piped up to wonder if they had any idea who the woman might be.
Back with Carter and Quinn, they were on edge since that was such a close call. Quinn didn’t want Carter to lose everything because of her and argued she wasn’t worth it. “Yes, you are,” Carter insisted.
At the cliff house, Paris stopped by to discuss some things related to the Forrester Foundation.
Paris quickly realized John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) were disorganized and frazzled – as any parents of a newborn would be.
After Steffy said she’d be returning to the office soon, Paris assured her that she didn’t mind the trip to the cliff house. She felt she’d have a hard time tearing away from the baby as well.
Paris gushed over what a handsome little boy Hayes Forrester Finnegan was and offered up a couple extra fish tacos she’d picked up on the way over.
Once talk turned to the foundation, Paris acknowledged that Steffy wanted to focus more resources on drug addictions.
Finn weighed in with his thoughts, so Paris suggested having the doc serve on one of the foundation’s advisory committees.
Steffy liked the idea and thanked Paris for coming all this way, but Paris insisted she loved the tranquility of Malibu.
Suddenly, Hayes started to fuss – and his parents had no luck calming him down. Paris admitted she was pretty good with babies and offered to try, so Finn said they could use all the help they could get.
Once Paris sang a sweet lullaby, Hayes calmed right down in her arms. Steffy was amazed over Paris having the magic touch with her little one.
