The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 9, reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) continued to grill Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) at the hospital lab.
Vinny urged Thomas to just leave it alone, but Thomas refused to let it all go. Thomas once again demanded that Vinny show him the actual test results on the hospital system, but Vinny balked.
“You have access and know how to change the results. Did you do it? Answer me!” Thomas bellowed, while Vinny claimed that it was “science” and that the results didn’t lie. “Chill out,” Vinny told Thomas, saying that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was the father and that everything was cool.
Thomas got unnerved as Vinny noted that he’d waited long enough for Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Meanwhile, in the Forrester CEO office, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) felt a little flutter from the baby. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was thrilled, and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) walked in and learned what had happened.
Ridge pretended to be weirded out by Finn and Steffy’s gushing over each other, and some cute moments ensued.
A short time later, Finn examined some designs to help Ridge and Steffy choose between them, and eventually talked turned back to the baby’s paternity. Steffy said that she had felt so strongly that the baby was Finn’s, and Finn said that paternity tests are almost always 100% accurate.
After Finn took off for the hospital, Steffy seemed pensive and upset.
Over in the Forrester design office, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) continued to berate Paris Buckingham (Diamond White), telling her to resign and leave Los Angeles before she did any more damage.
Zoe fumed about how Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) took his ring back – all because Paris couldn’t mind her own business.
Zoe ranted some more, accusing Paris of backstabbing and betraying her. Zoe said that she moved to Los Angeles to get away from Paris, and she rehashed everything that happened between her and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz).
“You did nothing to stop Ridge from finding me with Zende!” Zoe yelled, saying that Paris should pack her bags.
“No,” Paris said firmly and defiantly. Paris said that the reason Zoe was suffering was due to the consequences of her own actions and the way she had treated Carter.
Paris said that she wasn’t going to throw away her happiness just because Zoe was upset, and that she wasn’t giving up her job or Zende. “I’m a grown woman and I will make decisions for my life and my future, not you,” Paris declared.
Back in the hospital lab, Vinny and Thomas were still going back and forth when Finn showed up outside the door and started eavesdropping. “Stop fighting this,” Vinny urged Thomas. “Go be with Hope.”
Thomas again asked Vinny if he changed Steffy’s results and was robbing Finn of his child. Finn had a visible reaction to that exchange, and he kept listening.
Thomas finally said that there should be no more lies or justifications. “Did you change the results to make it look like it’s Liam’s baby when it’s really Finn’s?” Thomas asked. Finn walked in, saying that he wanted the truth, too. Finn said that he was a doctor at the hospital, and that he’d find out the truth.
“Come clean right now. Is Thomas right? Could I be the father of Steffy’s baby?” Finn asked urgently. Vinny glared, and Thomas narrowed his eyes waiting for an answer.
