The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, January 18, teases that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will be in the middle of a workout when Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) appears with someone he’d like for Bill to meet.
Of course, Bill always has time for gorgeous young women, so he’ll gladly welcome Summer Newman (Hunter King) from The Young and the Restless into his office.
Wyatt already set up this meeting with his father, so Bill won’t mind putting his workout on hold and getting down to business. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will be quite interested in Summer’s pitch.
Summer’s running the Jabot Collective – or JCV – back in Genoa City and will be excited to partner up with Spencer Publications to promote the brand.
As Bill and Summer discuss how to revamp JCV with a new media launch, Bill will mention that he’s spent some time in Genoa City. Bill will want Summer to say hello to Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) for him, but Summer may work Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) name into the conversation as well.
Bill has his own complicated history of feuding with Sally, so he might wish Summer luck since she’s going to need it!
However, Summer will mostly focus on the business side of things when it comes to talking with Bill. She’ll know that since Wyatt is Sally’s ex, he’s the one who stands the best chance of spilling juicy secrets.
Once Summer’s meeting with Bill wraps up, she’ll thank Wyatt for his part in making this happen. Summer already brought up Sally to Wyatt on a recent Y&R episode, but Wyatt wasn’t eager to cause any trouble for his former flame.
Nevertheless, Summer will try again on Monday’s episode of B&B. She’ll once again mention Sally and hope Wyatt’s lips are a little looser this time.
Unfortunately, all Summer will manage to do is stir up suspicions. Wyatt will start thinking that maybe Summer has an ulterior motive for this trip and JCV’s deal with Spencer Publications. He’ll make it clear that he isn’t interested in rehashing what happened before Sally left town.
As luck would have it, Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) will be in the right place at the right time for eavesdropping. Flo will hear Sally’s name and decide to corner Summer after Wyatt leaves for a different meeting.
Once Flo confirms that Summer would like to know more about the problematic redhead, Flo will insist she’s just the person to blab. Flo will contend that she’d be happy to dish all the dirt on Sally – but not there in the office. Since Wyatt wouldn’t approve, Flo will decide she needs to spill on the downlow elsewhere.
While Summer and Flo head to Ill Giardino to continue their conversation, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will stand his ground with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
B&B fans know Liam’s been trying to explain away that night with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as a misunderstanding, but Finn thinks Liam’s a pathetic excuse for a man.
Finn will keep ranting about the changes that’ll be made – especially if Steffy’s baby belongs to him. Despite Liam’s objections, Finn will reiterate that what’s worked in the past won’t work any longer. He won’t allow Liam to prey on vulnerable Steffy or just make himself at home at Steffy’s place anymore.
Finn can’t do anything about Liam’s connection to Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray), but he won’t let Steffy be Liam’s doormat – no matter what Liam has to say about it!
As for Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), she’ll continue working the angle of Steffy potentially knowing who her “baby daddy” is. Hope was wondering what Steffy’s instincts told her when B&B last left off.
Naturally, this is really just Hope’s way of expressing her anger and making Steffy squirm. Hope will keep it up on Monday’s episode, but Steffy will assure Hope that she won’t know anything for certain until she gets a paternity test.
Steffy will just hope that for the sake of everyone involved, the baby belongs to Finn instead of Liam.
Steffy will try to convince Hope that she never meant for things to turn out like this, but her excuses aren’t going to fly with Hope. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will have even more wrath to unleash, so stay tuned. We’ll offer updates as other news rolls in.
