The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, January 4, teases that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will struggle over the bombshell Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) just delivered.
Steffy revealed that she’s pregnant, so this obviously adds another layer of complex drama to their one-night stand secret.
Of course, Liam may wonder if Steffy’s absolutely positive about this. His mind may be spinning in denial for a moment, but he’ll come to understand that Steffy is indeed pregnant and this is really happening.
Liam will also realize that there’s a chance he could be the father due to their steamy night together, but it won’t quite sink in about this means he could be a dad to yet another child.
Initially, Liam will mostly be concerned about his relationship with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) taking an even bigger hit. Naturally, Liam will also fret about Steffy and how she’s holding up under the craziness of it all.
He’ll also know telling John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) the whole story will make things tougher on Steffy, but he’ll feel like it’s what she needs to do.
Likewise, Liam will want to come clean to Hope and just tackle everything head-on. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Steffy won’t be keen on making full confessions at this point.
In fact, Steffy will try a new tactic within the next episode or two in hopes of delaying Liam’s admission to Hope – and presumably her own admission to Finn.
It’s possible Steffy will suggest that there’s no need to tell Hope and Finn anything until a paternity test is done. Steffy might think she can conceal her pregnancy until it’s safe to do one and then if the baby belongs to Finn, they can all just move forward.
Then again, Steffy might try some other strategy to keep Liam quiet for now. Whatever the case, Liam isn’t going to go for the idea of staying silent on the matter much longer.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will move ahead with his confession to Hope eventually – and the hookup secret will officially be out according to B&B spoilers by the week of January 11-15.
In the meantime, let’s talk about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and his own struggles. Thomas has been recovering from his brain surgery and trying to deal with the knowledge that he thought a mannequin was talking to him.
Thomas ended up kissing a Hope doll, so that’s embarrassing and horrifying all at once.
Although Thomas had a legitimate medical excuse, he’ll continue to feel weird and guilty about everything that went down. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas’ guilt will get even worse after Hope admits Liam witnessed the mannequin lip lock.
Hope will offer updates on how Liam flew off the handle and stayed out all night, so Thomas will feel terrible for damaging her marriage.
Naturally, Hope will assure Thomas that it wasn’t his fault and that Liam understood later. Even so, Thomas will sincerely apologize for this and most likely everything else he’s ever done to cause Hope pain.
Thomas will promise Hope that he’s truly changed and wants to be a good man, so he’ll deliver a desperate plea for forgiveness. Since Hope will only want to focus on the present and future, that’ll fill Thomas’ heart with gratitude.
