The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, January 5, teases that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will try a new tactic with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Now that Liam knows Steffy’s pregnant, he’ll be even more adamant that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) needs to hear the whole truth ASAP.
Liam will push Steffy to make her own confession to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) while he’s off making his admission to Hope. He’ll want to do it right away, but Steffy will hit Liam with this new strategy of hers to delay the inevitable.
Steffy will be worried about how Hope’s going to take the news, so she might offer reminders of past heartache and insist Hope may not be able to get past this. Steffy might even do some type of roleplay scenario to show Liam what kind of reaction he’s bound to get.
B&B fans might see Steffy argue that Liam should hold off until she can be certain of who the father is. Since Steffy desperately needs this to be Finn’s baby, she may keep hope alive that an eventual DNA test will back her up.
However, it’ll take some time before Steffy can safely have a paternity test done – and Liam won’t be willing to wait on his confession much longer. The guilt is already eating Liam alive, so he’ll insist on telling Hope before the week’s over.
By the time Liam and Steffy end this conversation, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say he’ll expect her to come clean along with him. Liam will feel like they have to face the consequences of their actions and make their respective partners understand.
As for Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), there’s one thing he won’t understand at all – and that’s Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) real issue with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White). Paris will make a decision about the Forrester Foundation offer that causes Carter’s outburst on Tuesday.
Obviously, it sounds like Paris will reject the offer because Zoe made such a fuss about it. In fact, Paris will be ready to bail on LA since Zoe clearly doesn’t want her around.
As for Carter, he’ll corner Zoe and try to figure out why. Carter will rip into Zoe for being unreasonable and won’t get why Zoe has such a problem with Paris working for Forrester Creations.
Zoe doesn’t like Paris and Zende Forrester-Dominguez’s (Delon de Metz) connection, but there’s more to it than that. These sisters have a hidden history that’ll unravel as time goes on.
Zoe seems to think Paris has a pattern of swooping in and taking over her life, so Zoe may share some examples with Carter in Tuesday’s B&B episode. We’ll offer updates as other details become available.
