The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, April 21, teases that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will serve as a sounding board for Eric Forrester (John McCook). As Eric goes a bit deeper and confides the extent of his marriage issues, Ridge will listen and try to help.
B&B fans know things aren’t going the greatest in Eric’s marriage to Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer). That’s especially true when it comes to the lovemaking department, so Ridge will wonder what the issue is.
Eric is feeling detached from Quinn in some ways, so he’ll do his best to explain the situation to Ridge.
Although Eric offered Quinn forgiveness following all her scheming to keep Ridge and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) apart, it shook Eric’s faith in his wife.
Eric thought Quinn had finally learned her lesson and was on a better path, so it was just one mistake too many. Now Eric can’t trust Quinn and they can’t seem to rekindle their spark as a result.
Ridge may think Eric and Quinn’s marriage will improve in time. Despite Ridge’s problems with Quinn, he’s witnessed the love between them first-hand. Ridge may not want Eric to throw in the towel unless he’s sure there’s no hope – and Eric certainly hasn’t reached that point just yet.
However, this marriage could head further downhill soon enough. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn will be hard at work over the next couple episodes.
Quinn will form a desperate plan to reignite some steaminess and make Eric desire her like he used to. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like Quinn’s going to make any progress when it comes to fixing their intimacy troubles.
Other Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will realize he’s arrived in the nick of time! Bill will come strutting in the Forrester Creations office and interrupt Liam’s attempt to make an admission of guilt.
Liam will think Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) deserves honesty, but Bill has been adamant that not another soul can know the truth – not even Liam’s own wife. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will force Liam to clam up and let him handle this.
Bill will need to offer his own explanation for why Liam’s been exhibiting such strange behavior lately. He may argue that on top of Liam’s guilt over cheating on Hope, there have been too many work fires to put out.
Bill might mention the Spencer Publications drama he lied about on the phone recently. He may take responsibility for Liam seeming distracted and skipping that lunch date he arranged with Hope.
Although Hope will still be somewhat suspicious, it appears she’ll drop the matter for now. Hope wanted to know what Liam was hiding, but Bill will satisfy her curiosity enough to get through Wednesday’s B&B episode.
Bill will also have a proposal to make involving a getaway, so it looks like he’ll push Liam and Hope to go on a little romantic retreat and try to reconnect.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will feel confident the crisis has been averted, but it won’t be long until Hope’s blabbing to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) about how weird her husband’s acting.
