The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 12, teases that Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) may end up under attack over an impulsive lie. Shauna will do it in the name of friendship since she cares about Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) and won’t want her marriage to implode.
Before we get to Shauna’s shocking deception, let’s talk about Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) tragic tale. Zoe was devastated when she entered Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor bedroom and realized he wasn’t alone.
Carter is single at the moment and can do whatever he likes, but that didn’t make it hurt any less for Zoe. It hasn’t been that long since Zoe and Carter’s engagement ended, so she still feels betrayed in a way.
As Zoe continues to battle a broken heart, she may offer more updates to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Eric Forrester (John McCook).
They just learned Zoe’s surprise ended in disaster since she found Carter in bed with another woman.
Brooke might point out that Zoe hurt Carter first and suggest that sometimes relationship struggles are too hard to come back from. Ridge will probably be sorry for assuming that Carter hadn’t met someone new yet. He relayed his thoughts on the matter to Zoe, so he might feel partially to blame.
Eric wasn’t keen on discussing his own relationship woes with Zoe, so he may not say too much unless she specifically wants his opinion. However, Eric will certainly hate that Zoe’s suffering. He wouldn’t wish pain on Zoe – and the same goes for Brooke as well as Ridge.
Zoe will feel like a fool for fighting so hard when Carter already had someone else to keep his bed warm. She might start to wonder if Quinn found out about this mystery woman since she was acting strange along with Carter recently.
Zoe will probably plan to pump Quinn for information soon enough, but it seems she’ll opt to reconvene with Carter beforehand and push him for the truth. Since Zoe suspects that she knows the new gal in Carter’s life, that’ll make her even more determined to uncover her identity.
Shauna will hear the latest news from Zoe and know this could end in disaster for Quinn. She’ll be irritated with her bestie for playing with fire, but her priority will be Quinn’s protection. That’ll set the stage for Shauna’s major sacrifice.
Shauna will apparently take one for this team of two, so she’ll most likely act like she’s been sleeping with Carter to divert suspicion away from Quinn.
Brooke is particularly nosy and good at putting things together, so Shauna may feel like she has no choice if the dots start connecting.
Although Shauna may wind up under fire for making moves on Carter, that’s a price she’ll be willing to pay.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Shauna’s lie will be a temporary fix, but she can’t stop this secret from being exposed indefinitely.
