The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for the week of March 22-26 tease that we’ll see some big decisions and tough moments. First, we should point out that B&B will be preempted for NCAA March Madness basketball coverage on Monday, March 22.
The rest of the week will bring plenty of great scenes and shockers, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will give Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) some difficult news about their future, so that’ll bring some devastation. Liam will find out that Hope’s currently unwilling to fix their marriage. Instead, Hope will push for some time and space to deal with things on her own.
Liam isn’t helping with his constant pleas for forgiveness and attempts to somehow undo the damage he’s caused. There’s no getting around Liam’s betrayal – even with the recent paternity change for Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby.
With all that in mind, Hope will insist she wants a separation. She won’t be ready to commit to divorce yet, but this will be a trial period for Hope to see how she feels. Splitting from Liam and putting some physical distance between them will allow Hope to put her own feelings first.
Of course, Liam will remind Hope of his love before he accepts this is how it has to be. Although Liam won’t be willing to give up yet, he’ll worry this could truly be the end of the road.
Once Hope and Liam have separated, it might become easier for Hope to decide to take that next divorce step.
That’s something Liam will worry about as he opens up to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) next week. Liam will beat himself up again about screwing up so badly and ruining his family with Hope.
After Liam updates Bill on his separation from Hope, he’ll express his intense guilt over destroying his family with her.
Bill will think Liam’s being a bit hard on himself since everyone makes mistakes – and Liam certainly isn’t the first guy who cheated. There was also extenuating circumstances since Liam thought Hope betrayed him first.
Nevertheless, Liam’s lack of loyalty has been an issue for years, so it’s high time someone called him out on it. Hope will be putting herself first through this decision, so she’ll finally have some self-respect and acknowledge that she could perhaps do better than Liam for a love interest.
Other Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will seek guidance from Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) next. Liam will no doubt explain that it looks like his worst fear is coming true – that Hope can’t get past his mistake this time around.
Wyatt will listen to Liam’s troubles and do his best to give his brother some solid advice.
In the meantime, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will likely reach out to Hope following her separation. This could be a good chance for Hope and Thomas’ friendship to strengthen.
As for Thomas and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), there’ll be some bonding scenes for them in the week ahead, too.
B&B spoilers say Thomas will make a move that Ridge approves of. It’ll serve as further proof that Thomas is a changed man and can be trusted, so Thomas may show some sign that he only wants to be there for Hope platonically. We’ll see how long that plan sticks!
Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will have lingering concerns about Thomas and his motives, so those concerns are going to rev up in the near future. Look for Brooke and Ridge to have some familiar issues in their marriage as a result.
As for Steffy and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), we may get a few more moments of them enjoying baby prep and looking forward to their wedding. This will remain a drama-free zone as Finn and Steffy concentrate on their future together.
Over with Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), she’ll get in touch with Brooke to share how grateful she is. Shauna will acknowledge their rocky history, but she’ll want to thank Brooke for letting Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) be part of the Logan family again.
Speaking of Flo, she’ll get two surprising presents in the week ahead. These gifts will change Flo’s life, so what do B&B writers have in store for her? Could a marriage proposal and a baby be in the works? The life changes that hit for Flo will affect Wyatt as well, so stay tuned!
