Drew and Ralph start couples counseling, but their issues are put on hold after receiving devastating news. Porsha’s sister, Lauren, throws a party to celebrate Porsha’s involvement in the Black Lives Matter movement, but not everyone is invited.”

Cynthia and her sister, Mal head to yoga; Kenya joins them and has trouble with certain positions. During a break, Cynthia says the pandemic has been challenging for the wedding stuff. They finally saw the venue and Mike loved it. Cynthia says she is a little emotional about COVID and is it going to delay the wedding. If they can’t do it on 10-10-20 then she doesn’t want to do it at the venue, she wants to go back to the drawing board. Mike is hearing if she doesn’t do it on 10-10-20, then she doesn’t want to get married.
Kenya tells Cynthia that she just wants a big show for her wedding. Cynthia finds Kenya’s words are insulting. The two get into a shouting match. Cynthia says she is committed to the man, not the date and she will marry him on the sidewalk if he wants to. The yoga instructor is in the room, he burns some sage because he feels like there has been an energy shift in the room.
Kandi arrives at Nouveau Bar & Grill, Kenya meets her there for lunch. Kenya mentions that she was with Cynthia the other day and they were having problems with the date of the wedding. Kandi is surprised. Cynthia says that it is crazy. And, she really feels bad about what happened with the proposal, so she wants to throw her a surprise engagement party, and she needs Kandi’s help; the date is next Friday.
She wants Kandi to host it, that way people will come on time. Kandi knows that Kenya wants her to host, because of Kenya does it, some people won’t show up at all. Then, Kenya brings up Porsha and the fact that she has been arrested, again. Kandi knew it was just a matter of time before Kenya threw shade. Then they talk about Latoya, Kenya says she was at her place and they shared shots.
Drew is at home with Ralph and her mom. Ralphs says they are going to have their counselling session outside, and she has to make sure nobody goes out there. Love McPherson, the couple’s counselor arrives at their house. The two know they have serious problems that they have to work out. They sit outside, Love asks if they had two or three goals what would they be. Drew says transparency, genuine love for Josiah, peace, less anger. Ralph says respect and sex, that he wants three times a week.
Love wants Ralph to talk about his history; he says he grew up a single parent home without affection. Drew says Ralph has to own what his mother did to him, he is never working on himself.
Cynthia is on the phone with Porsha’s sister, Lauren. She is calling because they are doing a surprise party for Porsha because she is doing all the protesting to thank her for all the work she is doing. Cynthia says she will probably bring Kenya, Lauren says she wasn’t going to be invited. Kandi is also on the call, she asks if she can bring a plus one because her friend Toya is there. Lauren tells Cynthia that as long as Kenya comes with good vibes, then she can come. Cynthia then calls Kenya and tells her about the get-together, she says she will go briefly and show her support.
Ralph just got his suit from the cleaners, Drew tells him that she has help to watch the kids. Ralkph got a call, his father had a heart attack and passed away. Ralph says he is going to stay as strong as he can for his dad. Ralph’s father passing have put their issues on the back burner.
Tanya picks up Porsha, they first stop for gas. Porsha stays in the car and takes selfies while Tanya puts the gas in. They arrive at Sage Juice Bar and Sage is there to greet them. They order food and drinks. Porsha tells Sage that she is doing fine. Denis has been giving her co-parenting gifts every day; Chanel purses.
Kenya is on the phone with Cynthia, it is one hour until Porsha’s surprise party. Cynthia says she got a text from Porsha’s sister Lauren and she is a little apprehensive about Kenya going to the party. Kenya is not happy, she says someone is going to pay for her hair and makeup; but she is not going to be petty, she tells Cynthia to have a good time.
Kandi arrives at the party and tells Cynthia that the way Kenya was talking on the phone, it probably is a good idea that she is not there. Porsha arrives and is reduced to tears for the party that was planned for her, and she says it really gives her encouragement to keep doing what she is doing.
