The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may threaten to expose Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) as her former poisoning partner. Will Chelsea force her bestie to turn against Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)?
Y&R fans know Chelsea seems to be doing somewhat better thanks to her time away, but she hasn’t exactly made a full recovery.
For starters, Chelsea never really put in any work to get better – at least not while she was with doctors in a psychiatric facility where she could legitimately work on things.
The fact that Chelsea even wants to reunite with Adam at all is worrisome considering how many terrible things they’ve done to each other. It really seems like more of an obsession than love at this point.
Chelsea wanted revenge so badly that she poisoned Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and framed Adam for it.
Chelsea was willing to do that to her own son’s father, but now she wants to get back together with the man who kidnapped her and repeatedly turned to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Chloe mistakenly believes Chelsea has moved on, but she still knows her bestie is bound to be possessive of Adam once she returns to town.
That’s why Chloe keeps warning Sally to drop all the Adam flirting and prepare to maintain a professional distance.
Of course, there’s no way Sally’s going to do that. Sally couldn’t even if she tried – not that she wants to try!
t’s clear that Sally is quite attracted to Adam, so The Young and the Restless spoilers say she won’t give him up without a fight.
That means it’ll be “game on” for Chelsea and Sally, which also means Chloe will get stuck in the middle of their battle.
Chloe considers Sally to be a friend and a real asset to the fashion platform, so she’ll want to play peacemaker and keep Sally on board.
Will Chelsea have to go to extremes? We wouldn’t be surprised if Chelsea resorted to blackmail and tried to force Chloe to team up against Sally.
Chelsea could threaten to expose Chloe’s part in the poisoning plot, even though she didn’t understand the full extent of what Chelsea was up to at the time.
All’s fair in love and war, so Chelsea could push Chloe to fire Sally and help to sabotage her growing connection with Adam.
As long as Chelsea can use that secret against Chloe, there’s going to be trouble!
