The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may seek revenge on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) for stealing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). A dangerous fall story will get underway when Melissa Claire Egan returns following her maternity leave, so the show will definitely let Chelsea make a splash with her big comeback.
The upcoming drama will center around a very important question: Is Chelsea truly rehabilitated or not? Honestly, Chelsea put zero work into getting better when she was stuck in that psychiatric facility following her deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Instead, all Chelsea’s time and energy went into figuring out how she could get out.
We can’t forget that Chelsea was willing to poison Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) as part of her plan to bring Adam down.
Chelsea has apologized for that and does seem to be doing better based on her video calls from Minnesota, but there’s still the potential for more trouble.
Unfortunately, Chelsea has perhaps gone too far in the opposite direction when it comes to Adam.
Chelsea was previously fixated on vengeance, but now she’s obsessed with putting the “Chadam” family back together.
Chelsea has proven she doesn’t get over her obsessions easily – and as we already mentioned, she didn’t put any real work into therapy.
There’s nothing to indicate that Chelsea has been transformed into some better version of herself that’ll actually stick.
That’s especially true since an unexpected rival’s emerging in the form of Sally the feisty redhead, who clearly has Adam’s attention.
It probably won’t be long until Adam and Sally are hooking up, so Chelsea isn’t going to approve when she comes back to town.
Chelsea could come unhinged all over again upon her return – and it’s that possibility that’ll drive the drama in her return storyline this fall according to Y&R spoilers.
How far will Chelsea go to keep Sally and Adam apart? What might Chelsea do to get revenge on Sally for stealing Adam’s heart?
Chelsea obviously wants an Adam reunion, so she could indeed go too far in her mission to get Sally out of the way!
