The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) has some crushing blows in his future. Y&R fans know Connor’s been off at boarding school, so that’s shielded him from a lot of the problems happening in Genoa City so far. However, that plan can only work for so long.
Sooner or later, Connor will find out at least some of what’s been going on back home – and he could have a pretty strong reaction. For starters, Connor has been deceived about Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) condition. Although Chelsea is secretly making progress in her recovery, she still can’t walk or talk.
Chelsea has a long way to go before she can get back to 100 percent, so that alone will be tough for Connor to deal with once he eventually receives the news. There’s also the matter of Adam’s latest betrayal with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to consider.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will go to Sharon in the week ahead and admit he can’t stop thinking about the kiss they shared.
It seems like Adam wants Sharon back, so it’s pretty despicable for him to chase after Sharon since she just married Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Chelsea’s still in bad shape. This whole storyline isn’t a good look for Adam!
Nevertheless, Adam feels incredibly drawn to Sharon and that could lead to a full-blown “Shadam” reunion. Chelsea’s going to find out about Adam and Sharon’s lip lock, so she’ll be done with Adam for the foreseeable future. Sharon and Rey’s marriage also seems destined to fall apart.
Adam and Sharon might decide to surrender to what they’ve felt for quite some time, but their reunion certainly wouldn’t go over well with their loved ones. Connor in particular might feel like his dad abandoned his mom when Chelsea needed him most.
Back when Sharon was serving as Connor’s therapist, he developed an unhealthy grudge against her. Connor would chant on the stairs looking like a creepy evil child and was clearly plotting against Sharon before the story was dropped. That story might come back around under the circumstances.
Connor was obsessed with his parents being together in the past, so he probably won’t take this “Chadam” breakup very well. We could see Connor against his dad and save some blame for Sharon, too.
Perhaps Connor will break Adam’s heart by unleashing his fury and wanting nothing to do with his father. It could give Adam a taste of his own medicine since he was treating Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that way not too long ago.
