The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) might soon find himself in an outrageous, and very soapy, situation. As Y&R viewers know, Devon recently enjoyed a romantic evening with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), during which the couple made love for the first time.
Now Devon is moving ahead with a full-fledged relationship with Amanda, and all seems right in the world.
Well, not so fast. Devon also recently made love with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) back during the ice storm.
Devon and Elena got stuck together in Devon’s penthouse when the roads were in bad shape, and the lovemaking was supposedly a way for Devon and Elena to see if there was any semblance of a relationship left between them. There wasn’t, and Devon and Elena moved on with life.
And now, Y&R spoilers indicate that Devon will be making a very big offer to Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). It seems that Devon will get wind of the fact that Abby and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) are looking for a sperm donor so they can start a family.
Abby and Chance already have Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) lined up as a gestational carrier, and they’re just lacking a suitable male donor.
Well, it seems that Devon will think that he might make a decent donor, which would mean that Devon and Abby would be the resulting child’s biological parents, with Mariah as the surrogate carrying the child to term.
Exactly why Devon will think that he’s a good candidate for being a donor in this situation remains to be seen, but it seems pretty clear that he’s going to make the offer.
Let’s think about what all of this means. It’s quite possible that either or both Elena and Amanda could wind up pregnant from their respective evenings with Devon. And what if the perfect storm happens and Elena and Amanda discover they’re pregnant…and Devon goes ahead and becomes a sperm donor for Abby.
That would mean that Devon would have three children on the way, and that Elena, Amanda, and Mariah would all be pregnant with Devon’s babies all at the same time! It would certainly be a bizarre situation, but by our calculations it could very well happen, and then Devon would have a bit of explaining to do.
What a strange time it would be, with Devon to be a triple daddy. But given that this is a soap and there’s a clear path for Devon to have three babies on the way, it could very well happen. We’ll see if TPTB go this route, but it’s certainly within the realm of possibility!
