The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, November 5, tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will raise suspicions while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) fears Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is making a mistake. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also deliver a heartfelt plea to Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle), so let’s talk about what’s in store.
First on Friday’s Y&R episode, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be wary when it comes to Adam’s change of heart. That could involve a specific about-face that Adam’s about to do, but this could also be about Adam’s attitude adjustment in general.
Like most Genoa City residents, Nikki will isn’t used to this new-and-improved Adam who falls right in line. She may be waiting for the other shoe to drop, but Adam truly wants to be an accepted part of the family.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) certainly loves having Adam as a loyal Newman soldier and will defend his son to Nikki if need be.
In the meantime, Lily will battle concerns about Billy’s new strategy. Billy’s investigative team might be able to poke holes in Jesse Gaines’ (Jamison Jones) story and prove this is all one big setup.
Whatever the case, Lily may think the best thing they can do is simply not take the bait.
Billy, on the other hand, will insist on spinning this whole thing around on Newman Media. He’ll want to go after Victor and Adam using their own secret weapon, so more trouble’s brewing.
As for Nick, he’ll reach out to Victoria and hope they can finally make amends. Victoria may continue to give Nick the cold shoulder at first, but he’ll once again push for forgiveness – especially since he really needs his sister right now.
Nick will want to be able to confide in Victoria like he used to, so she may relent and offer a sympathetic ear.
Victoria probably won’t be surprised that Nick’s relationship with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has imploded and may praise Nick for putting his family first.
Of course, Victoria may also want to get a few things off her chest regarding Ashland and his condition.
Victoria might bring Nick up to speed on the experimental treatment in Peru and worry about what’ll happen if the trial fails or Ashland doesn’t qualify.
Maybe seeing how worried Victoria is for Ashland will help Nick see him in a new light.
