The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, September 10, tease that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will get an unsettling message – and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will send some mixed signals from Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) perspective. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will also grill Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) about his love life, so let’s talk about the hot drama to come.
First, Ashland will get some news that’s quite unwelcome. He’ll be on the receiving end of a message he’d rather not get at all, so this must tie in with his shady past.
Ashland would like to put his history to rest since he’s got some big secrets and a lot at stake. He doesn’t want to do anything to rock the boat when it comes to the merger and his impending marriage to Victoria.
However, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is determined to dig up some dirty details that Victoria can’t ignore. Ashland obviously has contacts who remain loyal to him since one of them tipped him off to the inquiry about the news stations.
Perhaps Ashland will get yet another message like that – this time one that indicates Billy’s closing in on the truth.
Then again, we know a lawyer connected to Ashland’s past will pop down the road. This could have something to do with him and a persistent threat that’s about to rear its ugly head.
Whatever the case, Ashland hasn’t been honest about his true identity, so Billy’s on the verge of learning there’s no record of Ashland’s birth – nor is there any record of his parents’ births or deaths.
Y&R spoilers say Billy will present this info to Victoria during the week of September 13-17, but Friday’s show could lay the groundwork for the shocking exposure.
In the meantime, Nikki will struggle to decipher the mixed signals she’s getting from Victoria. She’ll probably think her daughter seems excited about the nuptials one minute and uneasy the next.
That’s because part of Victoria loves Ashland and wants to trust in the life they’re building – no matter how long it might last.
Another part of Victoria can’t shake the feeling that Ashland is hiding big secrets from her like Billy suspects.
While Nikki tries to get to the heart of how Victoria’s feeling, Sharon will do the same with Adam.
Sharon will no doubt mention Adam’s party date with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as she works to figure out what’s ahead for Adam and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Since Sharon will plan to help Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), she’ll think she should know exactly where Adam stands.
Of course, Sharon should be curious for herself as well! She’ll fish to find out what Adam’s future will look like and whether there might still be a chance for “Chadam” after all.
