The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will come together with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to make a secret pact, which could prove a bit dangerous. Jack hasn’t been too keen on Phyllis butting in his love life lately, but he knows she means well.
Phyllis has made it clear that she’s always going to look out for Jack – and when it comes to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Phyllis’ warning was proven right. However, Jack may want to discuss something other than Phyllis’ usual meddling.
There’s something else that connects Jack and Phyllis since their children are currently engaged.
Summer Newman (Hunter King) is set to marry Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) – that is if it actually happens this time. Phyllis and Jack may have their doubts considering Kyle and Summer’s track record, so that could be what this secret pact is about.
Perhaps Jack will suggest they should make one and agree that no matter what happens with their kids, they won’t let it affect their friendship.
Jack and Phyllis’ connection may not be romantic these days, but it’s still a powerful bond that poses a threat to Sally’s chances with Jack.
As long as Phyllis is there to stand in Sally’s way, how can Sally truly get close to Jack again? Sally sees Phyllis as someone who’s always going to poison Jack against her.
It’s easy to imagine Sally witnessing the warm moment that brings this pact between Phyllis and Jack. Sally might resolve to do whatever it takes to destroy Jack and Phyllis’ friendship. The Young and the Restless fans know Sally’s holding a grudge, so Phyllis had better watch out!
Despite this pact, Sally may believe it’ll indeed hurt Jack and Phyllis’ bond if she blows up Kyle and Summer’s engagement. It would be a good strategy to hurt “Skyle” AND put Jack at odds with Phyllis about who’s to blame.
Whatever the case, there has to be a reason why Y&R’s pushing this Jack and Phyllis pact right before Summer and Kyle’s inevitable relationship drama. Things are going to be tough after Harrison Locke’s true paternity is revealed and Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) strikes back.
