The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will feel trapped with no way out. After Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) exposes Kyle’s buried secret to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), Kyle’s past will finally come back to bite him.
There’ll be no running from what he did anymore once Kyle’s cornered by Theo, Sally and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
This will lead to Kyle making a huge confession to Summer Newman (Hunter King) during the week of February 8-12. Early last month, January 2020, CDL let you know Sally would use Kyle’s history against him – and we speculated it would involve Kyle fathering a secret child.
It turns out that’s true and will be revealed on screen soon enough.
Y&R fans will recall that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) told Sally about Kyle’s wild days in New York with Theo. He feels like those days are far behind Kyle now, but Jack doesn’t know he’s got a grandkid!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle will spill quite a story to Summer in the week ahead. It’ll change their relationship in a big way since Kyle has never disclosed this information before.
According to Theo’s side of the story, Kyle had an affair while he was in New York – an affair with a married woman! That woman was the wife of a cutthroat business mogul named Ashland Locke.
Kyle got this woman pregnant, so it sounds like Ashland has been raising Kyle’s child as his own son or daughter.
Since Ashland is apparently a pretty powerful guy, Kyle may not have had much choice in the matter. Of course, it’s tough to believe that Kyle would’ve wanted to settle down and raise a kid back in those party boy days. Kyle might’ve been on board with Ashland and his wife raising that child without his involvement.
There’s a chance Ashland doesn’t even know the truth – or at least he might be determined to keep that shocker buried for the sake of his wealthy, influential family.
This guy sounds like another version of Victor Newman in a way, which may be why Victor’s one of the people who first corners Kyle with Sally and Theo.
Maybe Victor and Ashland run in the same business circles since they’re both these well-known tycoons. Whatever the case, Kyle’s version of the story might come with excuses and more details than Theo’s version of events. It’ll be interesting to hear what Kyle has to say and how Summer responds!
