The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, April 12 Update – Sharon Blames Chelsea & Chloe for Framing Adam

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, April 12, teases that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will argue over whether the theory she’s crafted with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is possible.

Rey just won’t buy the idea that a recovering stroke victim is responsible for all the shady things that have gone down – from the planted thallium to the stolen trinkets.

However, Sharon will suggest Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) could’ve helped Chelsea pull it off. She’ll defend Adam’s innocence and mention the texts she believes were sent by Chelsea through Adam’s tablet.

Despite Rey’s insistence that all this is impossible, Sharon will stand by the theory and argue that Chelsea was out for revenge.

Sharon will tell Rey about the lake house where Adam is staying, but she won’t be able to go with him since Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will be released from the hospital soon than planned.

Once Rey takes off alone, Sharon will nearly text Adam before ditching the idea and heading off to see Faith.

At the coffeehouse on Monday’s Y&R episode, Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) will meet Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and note that she seems interested in Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Moses will suggest Elena and Nate should date, but Nate will admit they already tried and failed. Once Nate gets called to Chelsea’s penthouse about her newly regained ability to speak, he’ll warn that it’ll take time to get back to normal.

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will want Chelsea to clarify what it is that Sharon knows, but Nate will advise against pushing Chelsea too hard. A little later, Chelsea will pretend to gasp out that she needs Detective Rosales.

Next, Faith will speak with Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) in the hospital waiting area about how things will go in court. Christine will be serving as Faith’s advocate and will insist they’re all on her side.

When Faith asks about the judge, Christine will promise that in her experience this judge is tough yet fair. Faith will be instructed on how to dress, but Christine will think it’ll be fine as long as she doesn’t wear jeans.

Afterward, Faith will settle back in the cottage and admit she’d like to sleep in her own bed for a while. She’ll apologize to Sharon and Nick again for everything she’s put them through. Once Faith heads up for her nap, Nick will want Sharon to level with him about Adam.

Sharon will get updates on Chelsea’s recovery breakthrough and smirk since she’ll know it’s a response to her visit. Sharon will act like Chelsea’s trying to divert suspicion away from herself.

Sharon will explain her theory that Chelsea poisoned Rey and set Adam up, but Nick will have his doubts.

After Nick gets news about Adam staying at the house by the lake, he’ll dash off to confront his brother. Rey will have his gun drawn when he barges in the place, but Adam will already be long gone.

When Nick shows up and reveals that Chelsea’s speaking again, Rey will raise an eyebrow at that. He’ll also argue that Sharon is the only one who could’ve warned Adam about his arrival.

Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will quiz Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) about Richard Nealon. That name won’t jog Victor’s memory, but he’ll remember Sutton Ames’ (Jack Landron) name along with the name Bruce Stansfield.

The latter is the reporter who’s already been hounding Victor with questions about Sutton’s case.

Victor will point out that she didn’t have answers for Bruce. He’ll also refuse to answer Amanda’s questions and won’t want her to use Newman Enterprises to deflect blame. The same goes for Victor himself.

Victor will cut the conversation short, but Amanda will make it clear that she intends to do her job whether Victor cooperates or not.

It turns out Amanda has already sent a letter requesting the names and titles of all the executive at Newman, so Victor will accept that she’s going to do what she has to do. He’ll encourage Amanda to find the true culprit before he saunters out.

Amanda will fill Devon in on Victor’s reaction back at his place, but she’ll think Victor’s attempt to intimidate her was understandable.

That said, Amanda will make it clear that she isn’t backing down and feels alive thanks to her passion for this case.

Devon and Amanda will have a little moment of hopefulness about fixing things between them – though Amanda’s priority has to be the case for the time being. As for Moses, he’ll seem to be crushing hard on Faith when he catches up with Devon.

Nate will also request coffee and a hang-out with Elena when he bumps into her again, so there’ll be romantic developments all around on Monday, April 12. The Young and the Restless spoilers say some surprises are still to come for several Genoa City residents, so stay tuned to Y&R.
