The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, April 5, tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will confront her past and consider her future. When Sutton Ames (Jack Landron) knocks on Amanda’s door, she’ll open up and get an introduction.
Amanda won’t be thrilled to see her grandfather, but this should turn into a pretty cathartic visit.
Y&R viewers know Amanda has bottled up pain and resentment for decades. Amanda was able to release some of that with Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey), but this will be her opportunity to do the same with Sutton.
Since Naya gave her twins away to avoid bringing scandal to this political family, Amanda will obviously blame Sutton on some level. Amanda might’ve had a very different life if Sutton hadn’t been so adamant that Naya should give her girls up.
Sutton will let Amanda unleash her fury and understand why she feels the way she feels. That’s especially true since Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) got a restrained order not too long ago!
Now that Amanda’s help is needed, Sutton and his loved ones are suddenly willing to embrace her. It’s been a lot for Amanda to process, so she’ll need this chance to vent.
However, Sutton will want to give Amanda a personal plea for assistance. If Amanda doesn’t come through for Sutton, he may fear he’ll truly go down for a murder he didn’t commit.
Amanda and Sutton will discuss the suspicious death of her father, Richard Nealon. Sutton should convince Amanda that he’s innocent, so she may decide she’s willing to fight for him in court. Clearing Sutton’s name could be the first step toward figuring out who’s actually responsible.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will freak when Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) puts him on the spot about Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
Ashland will demand to know if Kyle and Tara slept together, so Kyle will realize he’s indeed been busted.
Although Kyle may confess and express regret, Ashland will make it clear that he’s coming for him! By the end of this conversation, Kyle will be shaking in his boots and ready to run to Daddy!
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will step up to help Kyle in the coming episodes, so they’ll stand together as a father-son team against Ashland.
Unfortunately, Kyle failed to mention to Jack that Harrison Locke is his biological son – at least according to Tara. That fact will no doubt come back to haunt Kyle sooner or later, so Jack isn’t going to be pleased that he was left out of the loop.
In the meantime, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) may pop over to the penthouse and catch up with Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines). The Young and the Restless spoilers previously confirmed that Moses and Lily would have some early scenes together as Moses got settled in.
Since Lily doesn’t make it to Devon’s place on Friday, perhaps she’ll stop by on Monday and let Moses know she’s glad to see him.
At the lake on Monday’s Y&R episode, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will find Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) following his desperate texts. Naturally, Sharon will want to thank Adam in person for saving Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind).
If it hadn’t been for Adam’s quick thinking and willingness to risk his freedom, Faith’s outcome could’ve been far worse.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will hope Sharon might repay that favor. Since Adam believes Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) set him up, he’ll want to turn the tables and set her up next.
Adam will fill Sharon in on Chelsea faking her stalled recovery and planting the thallium. He’ll push Sharon to believe Chelsea poisoned Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) instead.
Sharon will be overwhelmed as Adam asked her to not only believe all this – but to target Chelsea with a trap that could bring serious charges.
Adam will force Sharon to make a big decision about loyalty, but it seems she’ll sign up for this scheme and put her marriage in jeopardy as a result.
