The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, October 4, teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will investigate a potential Camilla Rhodes will change while Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) stalls Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), so here’s what Y&R fans can expect.
At Crimson Lights, Sally Spectra (Courtney) will spare no expense when it comes to getting the wedding dress made as fast as possible.
Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) will overhear Sally’s phone conversation and talk about her gambling with his money, but Sally will think Adam’s investment will pay off.
Adam will hope Sally’s planning on giving this bridal gown to Victoria anonymously somehow. He won’t think Victoria will even look at it otherwise, but Sally will suggest Victoria might admire her confidence.
Adam, however, will feel like he knows his sister better than Sally. He won’t have high hopes for this plan working out, but Sally will be willing to fly to Tuscany if need be.
Sally will assure Adam she’s going to seize the day and create major buzz by ensuring Victoria wears that dress at her nuptials.
In a hotel suite, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will get real with Ashland about how much pain Billy’s lies caused. Victoria will insist she can’t and won’t go down that road again, so she’ll want to know anything else Ashland’s been keeping from her.
Victoria will bring up Jesse Gaines (Jamison James) and push for the reason he showed up in Genoa City. Ashland will promise to tell Victoria whatever she wants to know, but he’ll want a favor in advance.
Ashland will have the jet ready to go, so he’ll want Victoria to catch a flight to Italy with him – tonight before the confession happens.
Ashland will plan to spill all in Tuscany later, so Victoria will decide that perhaps getting away from GC’s naysayers will be good.
As for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll stay tight-lipped about what he discovered in Toms River when he bumps into Billy.
Nick will also catch Victoria just before she leaves on her flight, so he’ll want a chance to clear the air.
Victoria won’t think there’s anything left to say and will insist Nick still isn’t invited to the wedding.
When Nick realizes Ashland has convinced Victoria to fly to Tuscany, he’ll be baffled over the hold this guy has on her.
Ashland will act like Victoria is a forgiving person – far more forgiving than Nick.
As for the story of Bobby DeFranco and how he became Ashland Locke, Nick will face pressure to keep quiet. Ashland will feel like if Nick has any decency at all, he’s going to bury that secret.
After Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) phone call interrupts their poker game, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will encourage Devon to go.
Devon’s baby whisperer skills will be needed, but they won’t work as well as they did before.
It turns out Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor will have some congestion and will be a tad warm, so the pediatrician will suggest some saline drops.
Devon will offer to go get them for Abby, but Dominic will be peaceful in Devon’s arms by then. Abby will think she should go instead, so that’ll be fine by Devon.
Devon will squeeze in more bonding time before Abby returns with the drops and gives them to Dominic, who’ll take them like a champ.
Abby will let Devon know she’s started her video journal up again – mostly because she hates how much Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) is missing.
Devon will feel like Chance can make up for lost time once he finally comes home. He’ll tend to the fussy baby again and earn a smile from Abby.
Later, Abby will grin once more as Devon sleeps by Dominic’s bassinet.
When Amanda catches up with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) at The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis will seem wary of this baby situation.
Amanda will downplay everything and act like Devon can spend as much time with Devon as he wants. She won’t feel threatened at all and will decide she’d much rather talk about Phyllis’ failed marriage to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
After Amanda and Phyllis head to Society for drinks, Billy will join them. He’ll pick Amanda’s brain on legal issues while Phyllis is busy answering a work call.
Amanda will weigh in when Billy presents the story of a 20-year-old who perhaps stole someone’s inheritance. Billy will have questions about how someone might go about changing the will after the person’s death.
Amanda will argue the easiest way would be to involve the lawyer behind the original will. She’ll suggest a document could also be presented that claims the person’s wishes changed.
Later, Billy will make a phone call as part of his Ashland investigation. He’ll want to find out if Ashland was able to score Camilla Rhodes’ inheritance through some crooked plan.
Back with Phyllis, she’ll open up to Amanda about her intense relationship with Billy once upon a time.
Phyllis will regret hurting Jack and will consider him someone she’ll always keep in her heart.
Finally, Victoria will stop by her office and look at the portrait Ashland bought for her. Victoria definitely won’t look certain about Ashland or the wedding that’s coming up!
