The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) may make a Chance Chancellor (soon-to-be Connor Floyd) discovery that brings family redemption. Will Nick be the reason Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) reunites with her missing husband?
During the week of November 8-12, Y&R spoilers say Abby will remain an emotional wreck.
When it comes to grief, people don’t always go through all the stages in the same way. Abby will try to inch toward acceptance, but she’ll keep coming back to that initial stage of denial.
Although Abby will do her best to convince herself Chance is gone forever, that just won’t be what she feels in her heart.
Abby’s refusal to let go could prove quite concerning to people like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), who’s had his own sources working on the case and thinks there’s pretty much zero possibility that Chance survived.
Of course, we know Chance is indeed alive and will be coming home down the road.
That means it’s just a matter of tracking Chance down and making his reunion with Abby happen. The problem is Abby won’t have much success getting anyone to pitch in.
Perhaps there’s where Nick comes in. During the week of November 8-12, Abby will contact Nick and beg for his help. Nick was able to dig deep and find out the truth about Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).
Maybe figuring out the truth about Chance could be the next mystery Nick tackles.
Victor and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will want Abby to accept the loss. Abby doesn’t like or trust Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) enough to turn to him – and she knows he’d just side with Victor anyway.
Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) has enough on her plate since she’s supporting Ashland through a terminal cancer battle. Most of the people in Abby’s life are either busy or against a Chance search.
It makes sense for Abby to turn to Nick, even if he ends up being more of a last resort. Nick isn’t afraid to go against Victor right now, so that could work in Abby’s favor.
Will Nick take pity on Abby and help with the case of missing Chance? Could Nick make a discovery and set Abby’s reunion with Chance in motion?
If Nick’s search for answers leads to Chance being found alive and coming home, he’ll no doubt be a redeemed hero within the Newman family.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Abby and Nick are poised to team up, so we’ll see if they can get some results.
