The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will dump an ice bucket on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) at the Newman Media bash, so this rivalry will explode with a public spectacle. It’s no secret that Sally and Phyllis have a major feud going on, but it’s about to get even worse.
For starters, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will confront Phyllis about how much time she’s been spending with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) lately. He’ll acknowledge how close Jack and Phyllis are, so Phyllis will wonder what Nick’s getting at.
It’ll lead to Nick wondering if Phyllis would be with Jack if he weren’t a factor here.
Phyllis will be taken aback over all this and will wonder what even put the idea in Nick’s head. Nick will admit that Sally commented on Phyllis and Jack’s bond, so that’ll really set Phyllis off. Phyllis will feel like Sally crossed a serious line by trying to make trouble in her personal life.
After Phyllis reassures Nick that he’s the man for her, she’ll spar with Sally at the upcoming Newman Media launch party. Sally will attend with Adam, who obviously isn’t Phyllis’ favorite person either.
The sight of Adam and Sally together will rile Phyllis up even further and set the stage for disaster.
Of course, Sally will no doubt push Phyllis’ buttons as usual – perhaps even expecting Phyllis to hold back since they’ll be in a public setting.
However, Phyllis won’t let that stop her from causing a scene. She’ll grab a nearby ice bucket and pour the contents on a stunned Sally’s head.
Y&R spoilers say Sally will be humiliated and livid, but she’ll try not to let the incident spoil her night.
At least Sally will still have her new job as well as a supportive Adam by her side! Nevertheless, any notion of taking the high road may fly right out the window.
Sally may insist on getting revenge after Phyllis’ childish antics, so we’ll see if she forms a new scheme and strikes hard. As other Y&R news and updates come in, we’ll keep you posted.
