The Young and the Restless spoilers preview update for the week of May 3-7 documents that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) face death as a tornado collapses the Montalvo’s Kansas farmhouse.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s cryptic comments led Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to break her promise of secrecy.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), using digital intel his father’s private investigator obtained, then locates his brother in Kansas.
Adam left Genoa City, Wisconsin, because Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) effectively framed him for poisoning GC’s Police Department detective Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Hiding at the Montalvo farm appeared to be smart, as it was unoccupied.
But Adam’s cell phone call generated a ping that allowed Faith Newman’s (Reylynn Caster) father to find Adam.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Faith Newman’a Kidney Need
Faith developed an infection following the serious truck accident she suffered last month. Her kidneys have been affected as a result.
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) offered two tough remedies. Faith could begin dialysis and endure that vital medical process indefinitely or a donor match could provide a living kidney.
Fans can retrospectively see that Adam’s choice to rescue Faith from the truck accident scene and Caster’s recent awareness that he saved her from drowning years ago ties into the current plot.
Adam’s rare blood type positions him to be the hero in this storyline and potentially earn redemption within the Newman family.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Newman And Rey Rosales Question Themselves
Nick and Rey were already questioning whether their reactionary thoughts about Adam were rightly applied. They collectively wondered why he would have risked his freedom, while on the lamb from the law, to save Faith after her accident?
The implication was that he might not have been guilty of trying to kill Rey after all.
Rey recently revealed to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that he was no longer certain that Adam poisoned him. That was a significant moment, as the Moustache has been trying to assert Adam’s innocence to Rey.
As for Nick, he’s desperate for Faith to receive the kidney transplant. Victor knew that Adam’s rare blood type matched hers, which meant that the search for Grossman’s character had to be successful.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tornado Threatens Three Lives
A tornado forms in Kansas as Nick is attempting to convince Adam he’s needed in GC. That natural disaster threatens their lives, as the roof of the cellar of the Montalvo’s farmhouse where Adam is staying collapses.
So, Adam’s survival will be key as he’s the intended donor. But Nick’s life will be endangered as well on Y&R as the preview update for the week of May 3 shows.
