The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Friday, February 19, tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will enjoy Valentine’s Day together at Chancellor Communications.
Billy will share a cute riddle with Lily, and she’ll try to guess the answer. But soon, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will enter and break the mood, having brought the kids’ Valentine’s Day cards for Billy.
As it will turn out, the kids will have also tucked a little card for Lily into the mix, which will make Victoria jealous. Victoria will then get a call from the nanny, saying that Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) fell on the ice and hurt her arm.
Billy and Victoria will rush off to the house tend to Katie, where Billy will openly wonder if Victoria is really happy for his relationship with Lily. Billy will head back to Chancellor Communications, where he’ll open his present from Lily – his favorite single malt scotch.
As Billy and Lily enjoy chocolate and scotch, Billy will tell Lily the answer to his Valentine’s Day riddle, and Lily will compliment Billy on being the best of his father, John Abbott (Jerry Douglas). Lily will also tell Billy that she’s falling in love with him.
Over at Crimson Lights, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will run into each other, and they’ll establish that Elena is still thinking over what she wants.
Elena will give Nate a gift that she bought him when they were away and still a couple, and soon Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will walk in.
On the patio, Amanda and Devon will discuss the tension between Elena and Nate, then they’ll exchange Valentine’s Day gifts – they’ll have each gotten the other a massage at the Grand Phoenix spa.
Devon will tell Amanda about Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) struggle to have a baby, and he’ll say that he wishes he could help her out himself.
At Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) house, she and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will receive some flowers. As it will turn out, the flowers will be the same as Sharon’s bridal bouquet, and Rey will have picked them out last week.
Sharon will read the card from Rey, and Rey will read his Valentine’s Day card from Sharon, both of which will remind them of how much they mean to each other.
Sharon will want to put off talking about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for the day, and Rey will agree, saying that Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) needs them right now. Rey and Sharon will discuss Faith’s recent behavior, and Sharon will reminisce about Faith’s life and times.
Faith will listen from the stairs as Sharon shares a touching story about her, and Faith will leave her mom a Valentine’s Day card on the stairs.
Soon, Sharon will see the card, which will say, “Mom, even when we fight, you are always there for me. I don’t know where I’d be without you. I love you, mom.”
Sharon will break down crying, saying that’s exactly what she needed to hear Faith tell her. Faith will be on her way downstairs to have a moment with Sharon when she gets a text from an unknown number. The text will simply be a heart emoji, and Faith will look confused.
At Society, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will arrive to find Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) waiting for him. Nick will have sent exotic flowers to the restaurant, and Phyllis will love them.
As it will turn out, Phyllis will have reserved the entire restaurant for a VIP dinner for the two of them. Nick will share about Faith’s suspension from school, and Phyllis will offer her support.
After dancing together, Nick and Phyllis will enjoy a luxe dinner, and Phyllis will give Nick a video game as a present, along with some slinky lingerie. Nick and Phyllis will head back to the Grand Phoenix to continue their celebration in private.
