The Young and the Restless Spoilers Recap: Tuesday, February 2 - Chance Gone, Abby's Alone - Sharon Bans Jordan From Faith

The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Tuesday, February 2, tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will come to see Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at Chancellor Communications.

Victoria will surprise Billy by telling him not to stop by later to see the kids, and she’ll insist that while it was fun to ride out the ice storm together, they need to stay on schedule with visitation.

Billy won’t know what to make of this, and Victoria will go on about wanting clear boundaries and not wanting the kids to get used to the four of them being together.

Billy won’t understand, and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will walk in as they’re arguing about it. Victoria will then leave abruptly and welcome Lily home from her business trip to New York City.

Victoria will linger at the elevators, and she’ll hear Billy tell Lily how much he missed her when she was away. Victoria will be visibly upset by this. Meanwhile, over at the Grand Phoenix, Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) will hit Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) up for a job.

Gloria will want to be the coordinator of the Escape Club, but Phyllis will turn her down flat.

Later, Billy and Lily will arrive for drinks and they’ll talk about Lily’s successful trip to New York City, as well as Victoria’s odd behavior earlier.

Billy will say that he doesn’t get what happened with Victoria, and Lily will look askew, but she’ll say that she wasn’t there so she couldn’t know what Victoria’s hang up is. Ultimately, Billy and Lily will go upstairs to celebrate Lily’s homecoming.

At Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Newman) house, Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will vow to put on a united front for Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind). Faith will come home, and Sharon will take a no-nonsense approach with the teen, confronting her about finding the vodka bottle top in the sofa.

Faith will deny drinking, and Nick will cave somewhat.

Faith will wonder what her parents want from her, and Nick will say that he doesn’t want her to say she’s ok when she’s not. Sharon will bring up therapy, but Faith will freak out, saying that she won’t go. Just then, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will walk in and ask for some time alone with Faith.

Once alone, Nikki will ask Faith what’s so awful about going to therapy, and Faith will rant about how everyone but her gets to mess up, and that she has to be perfect. Nikki will end up taking Faith to the ranch, while Sharon and Nick argue about having different approaches to wanting the same goal.

Soon, Sharon will take off for Crimson Lights, and then Nikki will return to the house to talk with Nick while Faith stays at the ranch with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Nikki will tell Nick that Faith’s best chance is to talk with a professional, which is something that Nick won’t be keen to hear.

At Society, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will be in the lounge talking about how well Mariah’s doctor appointment went when the conversation morphs into a discussion of how they want kids someday.

It will be a cute conversation and really the first time that Tessa and Mariah have contemplated a family.

Outside the restaurant, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will leave a message for her mom, then she’ll walk in and break the news about Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) inability to be a father to Mariah and Tessa.

Abby will be sad, and Mariah will extend her friendship, saying that she’s there if Abby needs her.

At Crimson Lights, Gloria will summon Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) for a meeting, and Lauren will assume that Gloria wants to ask for a job again. Gloria will say that she’s desperate for a job, since she has debts from her time in Los Angeles.

Gloria will wail that nobody’s willing to give her a chance, and Lauren will say that she made her own bed.

Eventually, Gloria will wear Lauren down, and Lauren will say that she’s thinking about promoting Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), which would leave the executive assistant job open. Gloria will get excited, and Lauren will tell Gloria that she’ll think about it.

Later, Jordan (Madison Thompson) will walk into Crimson Lights and Sharon will walk up to her. Sharon will say that Faith has a lot going on right now and that this would be a good time for Jordan to back off and give Faith some space.

Faith will walk in from the patio at this moment, and she’ll be appalled.

Jordan will try to play Sharon, saying that Faith’s like a sister to her, but Sharon will say that Jordan and Faith shouldn’t see each other anymore. Faith will make herself known, ranting at Sharon, as Jordan leaves.

Faith will blast Sharon, saying that Jordan is her only friend. Faith will rush out of Crimson Lights, telling Sharon to leave her alone.

At Victoria’s house, Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) will ask Victoria enthusiastically about Billy’s upcoming visit. Victoria will say that Billy isn’t coming tonight, and Johnny will whine, saying that they need to finish their game.

Victoria will snap at Johnny, then she’ll soften a bit and reassure him that she and Billy both love him very much.

Finally, at the Chancellor mansion, Abby will return home, but Chance will be nowhere to be found. Abby will assume that Chance is upstairs, and she’ll sigh and head up the staircase.
