The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) be a busy woman since she’ll have to juggle her latest promotion with prepping Gloria Fisher-Bardwell (Judith Chapman) to take over her old role. However, Gloria is a quick study and may end up feeling like Sally is hovering.
There’ll probably be some fun clashing since Gloria tends to have an attitude! Gloria might insist the executive assistant position isn’t that difficult and urge Sally to go on her merry way. Even so, Sally will make sure Gloria’s in the loop on everything she needs to know at Fenmore’s.
Once that’s out of the way, it’ll free up a little time for new developments in Sally’s personal life. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will end up discussing plans for dinner.
It looks like Jack will be the one who asks Sally to join him, so that’ll get the wheels turning for this intrigued redhead.
Sally will wonder exactly where they stand, so she’ll decide it’s best to just tackle the question head on. Since Sally’s not afraid of rejection, she won’t mind flat-out asking Jack if this is a date. What’s the worst that could happen?
Jack could say no and insist it’s a friendly dinner – in which case Sally would still enjoy a good meal and great company. Sally won’t have anything to lose by seeking clarification on this. Still, since Sally will be asking for confirmation on this date status, she’ll clearly be hoping Jack gives her a yes.
Sally recently suggested to Jack that maybe he could be her travel guide – implying that they might take trips together as more than friends. Jack seemed uncomfortable and countered that sometimes it’s better to explore on one’s own.
Nevertheless, Y&R fans could tell Jack struggled with that comment after Sally left. It seemed like Jack was fighting the inner battle of whether to push things further with Sally or pull back. Since Jack and Sally will be making dinner plans before long, it’s obvious Jack won’t succeed in pulling back.
Whether Jack’s willing to call this a date or not, it seems like we might as well call it a first date regardless! Jack and Sally will inevitably flirt like they’ve been doing and quiz each other about their pasts.
That’s a date if you ask us, so Jack will be in denial if he doesn’t agree that’s what it is.
