The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Sally & Jack’s Ice Storm Bonding, Duo Gets Dangerously Close – Summer’s Scheme Hits Hurdle

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that an ice storm may ruin Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) takedown plans. Y&R fans know Summer’s in Los Angeles trying to get B&B’s Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) to spill all the tea on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

Summer will soon be armed with a boatload of dirt she can use to make Sally look like a master manipulator.

Of course, master manipulators have a knack for wiggling out of trouble! Sally has already been doing preemptive damage control with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) since she knows exactly where Summer is and what she’s likely up to.

Although Summer managed to squeeze a business deal, Sally suspects the real reason for Summer and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) trip is to plot against her.

Sally’s right about that, but she warned Jack that he might hear some not-so-glowing stories out of LA. Jack seems to totally understand Sally’s desire for a fresh start, so she’s got that going for her. However, Sally could take things a step further after an ice storm works in her favor.

That storm will hit Genoa City during the week of January 25-29 – and it looks like Sally will get stuck with Jack.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will request Jack’s assistance with something, so she may need advice on the special project Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) put her to work on.

That may be why Jack gets an unexpected guest soon after. Sally will indeed end up at the Abbott mansion, so it sounds like she’ll ask for Jack’s help and then just decide to come right on over.

As the ice storm gets worse, Jack will probably insist Sally can’t go back out in such harsh weather. Sally won’t have anywhere to be anyway, so she’ll kick back with Jack and a couple of drinks. If Y&R wanted to make Sally super smart here, she’d just spill the whole ugly LA story herself.

Sally has alluded to what went down, but she must know there’s a strong possibility Summer will learn the truth – meaning everything that happened right before Sally left town.

Since Summer’s going to blab anyway, why doesn’t Sally just take this opportunity to tell Jack from her perspective? The story would no doubt sound a lot different coming from Sally.

Perhaps Sally could tell Jack how she finally thought she’d found “the one” when she got engaged to The Bold and the Beautiful’s Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks).

Unfortunately, Wyatt reunited with Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) and the future Sally imagined was ripped away. Sally might admit she feigned a terminal illness in a desperate effort to recapture what she’d lost.

Maybe Sally could even mention that Flo – Wyatt’s current girlfriend and the woman supplying Summer’s info – helped to steal Wyatt’s brother’s baby and got forgiven for it.

Sally might confess she was frustrated since Wyatt chose someone like that over her. Maybe Sally could get sympathy from Jack if she tells the story her way.

Can’t you just imagine Summer’s face if she thinks she’s going to drop some big bomb and gets no real reaction? It’d be great if Jack could admit that Sally told him everything – and that he appreciates her honesty as well as her attempt to start fresh.

Naturally, there’s no guarantee Sally will divulge every last detail before Summer has a chance, but she could at least open up to Jack a bit more and prepare him for what’s ahead.

Regardless, Jack and Sally should do some major bonding during this ice storm. That alone will become a hurdle as Summer gets ready to use her dirt on Sally.

As other Y&R news rolls in, we’ll provide more updates. It sounds like Jack and Sally are about to get dangerously close! The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer’s plot won’t work out as well as she hoped, so stay tuned.
