The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Noah Newman’s (Robert Adamson) romance is needed – especially since Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) exits are leaving a younger couple spot open.
Kyle and Summer had become a popular duo for the show, so their departures are creating a huge void to fill. Summer has already left for Italy – and it seems likely that’s where Kyle will end up eventually as well.
Y&R insiders insist Kyle will soon head off canvas like Summer, so a new couple in the same age range could perhaps step up.
Sally is interested in Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), but that relationship is doomed! She’s on thin ice when it comes to scheming and secrets since Jack can’t trust her.
Of course, that means Sally’s going to lose this second chance with Jack if she indeed manages to lock it in.
Sally played a huge role in making sure Summer scored her new Italy job and gave Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) the nudge necessary to threaten Summer, too.
Jack adores Summer and knows how much all this is hurting Kyle, so he’ll be furious over Sally’s deception.
Sally is blowing yet another chance with Jack, so she’ll need some new prey – perhaps of the younger Newman variety this time. Noah is a nice guy who’d be vulnerable to a woman like Sally.
Noah’s been burned by women before and tends to keep his guard up, but Noah also likes to save damsels in distress.
There’s been talk on the show about Noah possibly coming home to work for Newman Media, so this is a great opportunity. Just imagine Sally dating Noah and having to deal with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) as a new rival.
Sharon could go into protective mom mode and become wary of Noah getting burned once again.
Naturally, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be wary of Sally after her part in Summer’s unhappiness comes to light. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) isn’t going to be pleased either.
Even Noah himself could have reservations since Summer is his sister, but Sally is a master manipulator who knows how to sell her sob story.
Noah also happens to be the kind of man who’d fall for it and stand against the naysayers.
We could see Noah clash with his family if he returns to Genoa City and chooses Sally as the woman he wants to date. It could set up another storyline and offer another younger couple option once both parts of “Skyle” are off canvas.
