The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) may team up with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) to split Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) from Summer Newman (Hunter King). It looks like the sneaky Spectra could soon get to work on a reunion scheme to push Harrison Locke’s family together.
Let’s look at what we know so far. Previous May sweeps preview info pointed to Sally retaliating against Summer and Kyle by hitting them where they’re most vulnerable. If Sally tries to break Kyle and Summer up using Tara and Harrison, she’ll indeed be hitting both their weak spots.
Sally befriended Tara almost immediately after they crossed paths, but things turned tense during their last interaction. Y&R fans know Sally made sure Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) could witness her passionate defense of him to Tara, but she was really just using Tara as a pawn.
Besides, Sally spent a good chunk of that confrontation trashing Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).
Tara’s not going to be too happy with Ashland either considering he just gave her the boot from their home and is threatening to take away custody of Harrison. That’s all happening based on the latest Y&R spoilers.
In other words, any tension Tara and Sally had over Ashland isn’t going to matter. What will matter, however, is the fact that there’ll be some overlap in Sally and Tara’s goals.
Sally will want to hurt Summer and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) by extension as Summer’s mom. From the get-go, Sally has known that Summer’s insecurities about Kyle are her kryptonite.
What better way to target Summer than to join forces with Tara and break up Summer’s engagement?
Likewise, Tara will want Kyle to claim Harrison as his own son. She’ll surely see the potential for a new united family with Kyle, so Sally may insist that future is possible with her help.
Sally might coach Tara on how to handle things and manipulate the situation so that Summer battles doubts.
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally will indeed find herself a new scheming partner during the week of May 24-28. Sally will team up with someone, so it makes sense that it’ll be Tara who agrees to an alliance.
