The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is in for a big surprise – and it won’t be a pleasant one! Lily and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) recently had an argument about his obsession with going after Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
After all the bickering, Billy admitted there are things in his past that he’d rather his kids not know about.
However, there are things that Billy would rather keep from Lily as well – and one of them’s about to come out. The Young and the Restless spoilers say an old indiscretion will be revealed on Tuesday, December 12. Y&R fans can expect Lily to be taken aback when she finds out about something reckless in Billy’s history.
Of course, we should consider where Billy and Lily are as of the December 8 episode. They’re on a turbulent plane ride with Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Things will grow more and more contentious as the hours pass on the jet. The most logical explanation here is that something will get blurted out and Lily will realize Billy slept with Summer.
Although the hookup happened back in 2018, Lily’s certainly going to want Billy to unpack all this for her later. Summer and Billy were consenting adults, but it was still unbelievably sleazy for Billy to take advantage of Summer’s feelings.
Summer legitimately thought Billy was interested in her, but Billy was just using Summer for revenge on Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
That’s another weird area to get into since Billy slept with his ex’s daughter – not to mention Summer is the niece of Billy’s other ex, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). This steamy “Bummer” session was just gross on so many levels. That’s something Lily and most Y&R viewers should be able to agree on.
Naturally, we don’t want to act like Summer was some delicate flower. Summer’s feelings may have been legit, but it was wrong for her to go after Phyllis’ man.
There’s a mother-daughter code that Summer was shattering big time. Phyllis and Billy might’ve worked through their issues if Summer hadn’t been so willing to go to bed with him.
This all went down because the truth about Phyllis and Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) one-night stand came out – and in Phyllis’ defense, she wasn’t a couple with Billy at the time. They were on a break!
Nevertheless, Billy was furious since Phyllis hid that hot night after they reconciled. That led to him having a hot one of his own with Summer, so it was payback plain and simple.
How will Lily feel once she gets updates on the whole ugly story? Will Lily battle concerns about Billy’s vindictive side? Could this bring worries about gossip that might affect Chancellor Communications?
Regardless, it does look like Summer and Billy’s scandalous secret is about to come out. As other Y&R news emerges, we’ll fill you in. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will have some explaining to do, so stay tuned!
