The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that there’s a major battle to talk about – and it involves the two most important men in Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) life. Are you on ‘Team Adam’ or ‘Team Rey’? Let’s set the romance of it aside for a moment and concentrate on some other crucial aspects.
We can certainly understand Rey’s frustration since Adam indeed comes first for Sharon. No amount of denying it can change that. Rey is Sharon’s husband and understandably expects some level of loyalty.
It has to be tough for Rey to watch Sharon choose Adam time and time again, but he’s letting that cloud his judgment on this investigation. Of course, it’s troubling that Rey’s even investigating this case at all!
Y&R fans are used to suspending disbelief for the sake of the story, but this is ridiculous. In what universe – even a soapy one – should Rey be allowed to investigate his own poisoning case?
Rey feels like he can separate his personal and professional feelings, but come on! This isn’t realistic for so many reasons. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey will even want to use Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as bait for Adam’s trap, so now he’s trying to use Adam’s child against him.
Sharon’s history with Adam is a huge part of why Rey has no business being involved in this case. Thanks to that kiss pic, there’s a public record of Sharon betraying Rey with her ex. Adam has been accused of trying to get Rey out of the way so he could be with Sharon.
Doesn’t all of that give Rey a strong motive to lock Adam up – no matter what his findings are? Rey’s part in this investigation taints the whole thing. Any decent lawyer could potentially get Adam off the hook based on Rey’s involvement alone.
Rey really needs to step aside and let someone else take the lead here. He’s not in any kind of position where he can remain objective. Rey has made it crystal clear that he hates Adam with a burning passion and wants to slap the cuffs on Adam himself.
That’s exactly why Rey needs to hand the case over to someone who’s more interested in uncovering the facts, not just taking down Adam. Are you on Rey’s side anyway or do you support Adam on this?
