The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, July 29, tease that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will get caught on an incriminating phone call to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) while Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) surprises Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) with a huge request.
At The Grand Phoenix on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will pressure Sally to confess her plot now or risk worse consequences later.
Phyllis will think Sally can end this right now with an admission of guilt, but Sally will refuse to back down from their fight.
Of course, Sally will still be in panic mode deep down. She just scored another chance with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), so the last thing she wants is for Phyllis to screw it up.
However, some crucial security footage will bring a tight spot. After Phyllis catches Sally and Tara arguing on video, she sends that video to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) on Wednesday’s episode.
That means Kyle and Jack will have plenty of questions on Thursday, July 29.
Tara knows how to think fast and talk her way out of trouble, so she’ll now doubt give it her best shot. Perhaps Tara will act like she was fighting with Sally over her shoe line and the collaboration with JCV.
Tara might even claim this was about the park video Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) filmed since there’d be ways to spin that. Anything is better than telling the truth about driving Summer Newman (Hunter King) out of town!
Regardless, it looks like Jack will corner Phyllis and demand answers about her latest stunt. Jack may cling to his belief that Sally’s changed and act like Phyllis staged this somehow.
Phyllis indeed set the trap, but the bickering between the co-conspirators was genuine. She’ll get choked up over her daughter’s pain and vow to get more proof if that’s what it’ll take to satisfy Jack.
As for Kyle, he’ll become even more suspicious of Tara after overhearing her phone call to Sally. Tara will say something that could be considered incriminating, but Kyle will know he has to proceed with caution.
Kyle will fret over the possibility of losing Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez), so he’ll have to be careful about his next move.
Back with Jack, he’ll have a tough decision to make when it comes to Sally and their future. Trust issues are already coming up for Jack, so it’ll be hard for him to stay on board with this fresh-start romance.
Sally will work hard to keep things afloat, but Phyllis will keep scheming against her.
Finally, Amanda and Devon will take a big leap forward in their relationship together. Devon may ask Amanda to move in the penthouse since they’re closer than ever.
It could be tricky navigating the situation with Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) around, but Devon and Amanda should be willing to make the arrangement work.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon and Amanda will keep moving in the right direction for now, but trouble could be brewing down the road!
