The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, October 28, tease that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will get a second opinion while Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) makes a confession. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also listen to Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) wise words, so let’s talk about what Y&R fans can expect.
For starters, Ashland will reach out to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) both as a friend and a doctor. He trusts Nate to give it to him straight, so he’ll want an honest second opinion on his health.
Ashland’s oncologist admitted his chemo wasn’t working, so he’ll seek updates on any other treatments that might help him keep fighting his terminal cancer.
Meanwhile, Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will take a breather from all the Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) drama that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is stirring up.
Now that Noah is back in Genoa City, Sharon will want to catch up with her son – for real this time!
Noah dodged Sharon’s questions during their last chat, but he should know better than to think his mom will let this go. Sharon is relentless when it comes to her children and her desire to protect them.
That’s especially true when a broken heart’s involved, so Sharon will push Noah for more info on his time in London.
Sharon might recall how Noah mentioned taking things slow with someone at one point. She’ll certainly be curious about Noah’s love life and why he’s suddenly decided to leave everything in London behind.
Noah can’t avoid the topic forever, so he may relay the same news he told Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) about the girl he liked dumping him for someone else.
It’s clear that Noah’s feeling lost and struggling with rejection right now, but maybe being around Sharon and his other loved ones will help guide him.
As for Jack, he’ll work to guide Phyllis down the right path as well. Jack already warned Phyllis not to give up when it comes to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Despite Jack’s undying love for Phyllis, he’s doing his best to root for Phyllis and Nick to make it work.
Jack’s advice on Thursday may reinforce that stance, but it won’t do Phyllis any good.
Although Phyllis will listen and try to take Jack’s guidance to heart, her relationship with Nick is headed downhill fast!
