The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, August 17 Recap – Victoria’s October Tuscany Wedding – Sally Spills to Adam

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, August 17, reveals that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will plan to have the “wedding of the century” in Tuscany this October while Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) spills the details of her past to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).

At Society on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will talk to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) decision to let Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) move to Milan.

Lauren will acknowledge that it can be difficult having sons who live far away and will think she’s fortunate to have Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) to lean on.

Lauren will be sorry for encouraging Jack when it came to Sally, but he won’t blame her for giving Sally the benefit of the doubt.

Talk will turn to Jack’s teardrop of love cufflinks and how Lauren intends to believe in the magic for him. Lauren will hold out hope that Jack will have a happiness that’s all his own one day soon.

At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will get off a call from Summer Newman (Hunter King) before Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) announces that it’s “Phyllis Appreciation Day” – a tribute to all the things about Phyllis that make him crazy.

Nick will start with a session at the batting cages followed by a massage in a suite. He’ll even wear a blond wig and use an accent as he roleplays a masseur named Sven.

After Phyllis thanks Nick for everything, they’ll talk about the sacrifices Summer and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) have made to get where they are now.

Nick will insist there’s nothing he wouldn’t give up for Phyllis since he loves her that much.

When the conversation shifts to Jack and how Nick previously felt she was being overprotective, Phyllis will suggest that they both worry about their exes. She’ll think it’s OK as long as they take the time to worry about each other as well.

Phyllis will ultimately declare that “Phyllis Appreciation Day” is over and will add that she’s ready to start the “Nick Festival,” so they’ll lean back on the massage table for lovemaking.

As for Jack, he’ll head back to the Abbott mansion and look at a comforting text from Phyllis. Once Jack hears Harrison giggling upstairs, he’ll smile and shout that grandpa’s home.

At Newman Media, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will arrive to find Victoria warning Adam that the company will fail and that he’ll let their dad down again.

Victor will make repeated attempts to push for peace between the feuding siblings, but Adam will eventually take off.

Victor will wonder if Victoria came to provoke Adam, but she’ll insist she came to share that October 15 is her wedding date.

Victoria will want to have the ceremony at the family palazzo and will be surprised when Victor decides having it at his villa in Tuscany is an excellent idea.

At Crimson Lights, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will corner Sally and shut down her efforts to play the victim.

Sally will argue that Summer came out on top and won’t think Nikki would’ve wanted her granddaughter to miss out on such an amazing opportunity.

However, Nikki will warn Sally not to make assumptions about her and will make it clear that she’s very protective of the people she loves.

Nikki will tell Sally not to come after anyone in her family again and will add that her husband isn’t the only one who knows how to take matters into his own hands.

“OK,” Sally will say simply before walking away. Next, Sally will collide with Adam while they’re both out for a run.

They’ll have some nice flirty banter before Sally tells Adam to pull up a bench and hear all the lurid details of her past.

Sally will invite Adam to override his promise to Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) if he finds it all too scandalous, but Adam won’t seem bothered once the story’s over.

Adam will admit that he’s trying to downplay his past as well and will assure Sally that he only intends to judge her on her work.

Sally will be pleased that there perhaps aren’t as many hypocrites in Genoa City as she thought. After Adam and Sally decide to continue their run together, they’ll wind up at the coffeehouse.

Chloe will watch and listen to their pleasant conversation suspiciously from the patio.

Afterward, Sally will join Chloe at her table and insist she wasn’t trying to score points with the person who writes their checks.

Chloe will insist Sally care score all the points she wants; she’ll just feel the need to offer a warning about Adam being a “sucking vortex of chaos and destruction.”

Chloe will add that Sally shouldn’t fall for Adam’s act and will encourage her to look at articles about Adam’s past online.

Chloe will add that Sally can also ask people around town, so Sally will thank Chloe for the advice and promise to be careful.

At the ranch, Victoria will get some wedding planning help from Nikki. They’ll go over ideas for the flowers, music and theme before Victoria insists she wants a giant, luxurious event.

Victoria will push for the “wedding of the century” and will want the world to know in the most extravagant way that Victoria Newman has finally met her match.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria’s setting herself up for heartbreak, so don’t miss what’s in store.
