The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, December 28, tease that Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) will bust Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) with fake booze while Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) reels over Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) custody push.
For starters, Victoria will spot Billy looking like a drunken mess at Society’s bar. It’ll set Victoria off enough to confront Billy right there in the restaurant.
Victoria will feel like Billy needs to be thinking about their children and will be sick of watching him fall back into this same old pattern.
While Victoria’s ripping into Billy, she’ll pick up his drink and sip it to prove a point. Victoria might scoff about Billy drinking the good stuff and sarcastically hope this is bringing him fulfillment.
However, Victoria’s in for a shock when she realizes Billy has actually been guzzling apple juice.
Victoria will be confused at first, but it won’t take long for the wheels to start turning. Victoria will figure out Billy’s faking his downfall and will determine that this must be part of some trap.
After Victoria calls Billy out on his deception, he’ll confirm that he’s indeed plotting against Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Victoria will sense that Billy wants her to keep her mouth shut, but she won’t be all that upset about it in the end.
Once Victoria mulls it over, she’ll view this as an opportunity and will start trying to negotiate a deal for her silence. In the meantime, Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will take charge of another tricky situation.
That could involve some Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) drama, but it seems more likely it’ll be about Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc).
It turns out Michael will do some soul-searching when it comes to his career and other aspects of his life.
We know Lauren will be helpful in the new year, but maybe Y&R will start that conversation now and get Michael thinking about the road ahead.
As for Devon, he’ll leave Abby nervous as he makes a request. Devon will tell Abby and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) that he wants to spend more time with Dominic, so Abby will pipe up that he can stop by whenever he likes.
Although Devon will appreciate that, he’ll be thinking more along the lines of unsupervised visits overnight at his own home.
Devon will also want to make some adjustments to their legal agreement, so a stunned Abby will realize this sounds a lot like shared custody.
Devon won’t think this has to be a big deal and will try to help Abby see this as a good thing.
Chance will be a little more receptive to Devon’s idea, but Abby will battle some worries. She won’t give Devon a definitive answer just yet, so he’ll head back to the penthouse and let Abby talk alone with Chance.
