The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, November 30, reveals that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will be furious over Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) arrival while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) gets a disturbing phone call.
At the ranch, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be too torn up over Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) situation to accept a work call. Next, Adam will get a call outside Society that catches him off guard.
When Adam confronts Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) and Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) at their table, he’ll admit he was tipped off to their pursuit of ChancComm. Adam will be outraged over Ashland’s betrayal and will think Victoria’s motivation is to protect Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
However, Ashland will argue that business is business. Although Adam will assume this was Victoria’s idea and will want to keep clashing, Victoria will abruptly end the conversation and send her brother away.
At Kim Dunaway’s (Roxanne Hart) house on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Abby will be concerned over Chance’s fixation on revenge. Chance will argue that there’s more to it than that and will insist he’s so close to bringing down the ringleader. He won’t be able to live with his team dying in vain.
Chance will insist that once he recovers, he’s going to get his orders and complete the mission. He won’t feel like Abby understands, but she’ll think she understands all too well due to the grief she’s been dealing with.
After Chance says he’s torn between his mission and his love for Abby, she’ll push him to get some rest and wake up with a new perspective. Once Chance is asleep, Abby will call Ashley and admit she doesn’t know what to do. Ashley will mention being in Spain with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and will push Abby to reveal her location.
Abby will decide that maybe Ashley can help – but just her, not Jack. Abby will make Ashley promise she’ll be the only one pitching in and will text her mom the address.
Ashley will fill Jack in on Abby getting in touch and urge him to tell the pilot they’re headed to Majorca. Jack and Ashley will then call Victor as well as Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to let them know that Abby has been located.
Soon after, Ashley will make it to Kim’s house and learn that Abby’s intuition was right. Abby will insist Chance is alive and asleep in the bedroom, so Ashley will be stunned and over the moon.
Although Ashley will be eager to spread the word, Abby will admit Chance is struggling emotionally and doesn’t want to come home without completing the mission. Suddenly, Chance will appear and angrily demand to know what Abby’s done. He’ll find out Jack also came on the plane and will worry about his cover being blown.
Chance will rant about how this is exactly what he was trying to avoid, but Ashley will promise that Jack knows nothing. She’ll assure both Abby and Chance that she only wants to support them.
Chance will settle down and apologize for lashing out, but he’ll argue that his decision is the same. He won’t want to return to Genoa City without completing his mission, but Abby will show off a livestream of Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor and insist that he’s the reason Chance needs to come home.
At Billy and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) place, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will show up and berate Billy over ruining her media division. Although Jill will hate the idea of selling ChancComm to the Newman-Locke, she’ll wonder what the terms of surrender are.
After Lily admits they’re willing to keep her on as CEO, Jill will ask for a word with her in private. Billy will head to The Grand Phoenix and stare into space before Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) finds him at the bar. He’ll be upset over Jill and Lily discussing the fate of ChancComm without him.
Phyllis will push Billy’s buttons a bit, but she’ll eventually confess he was in her dream recently and was quite wise in it. She’ll add that even screwups like them deserve love and hint that was the advice she got in her dream.
Back with Jill, she’ll assure Lily that she doesn’t blame her for Billy’s blunder. Jill will also acknowledge that Chance’s death put a lot of things in perspective for her. She’ll feel it’s time for a change and will reveal that she’s decided to step down as the head of Chancellor Industries. Jill will then deliver the shocking news that she wants Lily to fill her shoes.
At the ranch again, Adam will deliver updates to Victor on Ashland double-crossing them. He’ll think they need a counterattack, but Victor won’t be all that upset. In fact, Victor will hope it was Victoria’s forward-thinking idea and will defend her for looking out for her company. His only concern will be that this is about trying to protect “Billy Boy.”
Victor will tell Adam that in business, you can’t trust anyone. All Victor will care about is bringing Billy to his knees and will consider it icing on the cake if they get ChancComm. Adam will wonder if Victor is seriously going to let them get away with this, but Victor will reply that it has all just begun.
Back with Phyllis, she’ll get a video call from Jack on the jet. After an offscreen explanation about Abby being found, Jack will insist she’s with Ashley and gather that she’s having a rough time accepting Chance’s death. Phyllis will be touched to know she was Jack’s first call and will agree to meet up with him when he gets back.
