The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 7, tease that Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s (Melissa Ordway) hunt for Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) will heat up while Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) comes crashing down. Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) hidden agenda will also be uncovered – at least that’s how Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuo) will see it!
First, Abby will find herself growing increasingly desperate to bring Chance home. She initially didn’t want to disturb Chance’s mission and force him home before he was ready, but things have changed.
Now Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor is here, so it’s time for Chance to stop saving the world and come be a dad to this child.
Y&R fans can expect Abby to make more of an effort to contact Chance.
Abby may get in touch with Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) to see if there’s any new information at all. Abby would at least like for Chance to know he’s a father, but that may not be possible.
Unfortunately, Chance has been deep undercover – perhaps too deep to even receive word of Dominic’s birth.
Of course, the show could take an alternate route if Chance indeed hears about Dominic’s arrival and chooses to stay on assignment.
Chance might feel he’s come too far to bail and decide to wrap things up before he returns to Abby and the baby.
That could leave Abby feeling furious and even more rejected, so we’ll just have to see how it all plays out.
As for Mariah, she’ll unload all her heartbreak on a sympathetic Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and equally compassionate Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks).
Mariah already hasn’t been doing well, but it’ll become even more apparent that this ordeal has taken a severe toll.
After Mariah opens up about how hard it is to separate herself from Dominic, she’ll get some comfort from Tessa and Sharon.
They’ll do whatever they can to get Mariah through this, but she may need more help than Sharon and Tessa can offer.
Finally, Rey will be suspicious of Adam as usual. That’ll lead to Rey doing a little digging and uncovering what he feels are Adam’s ulterior motives.
Rey will call Adam out for having a hidden agenda, so we’ll see what that’s about – and whether it’s legit or if Rey’s just harassing Adam like he always does!
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam will likely defend himself, but Rey will forever keep his guard up when it comes to Sharon’s former flame.
