The Young and the Restless Spoilers Update: Monday, April 26 – Sharon All Alone – Rey Traps Chelsea – Victoria’s Power Trip

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, April 26, reveals that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will head to Society and look around for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). It won’t be long until Lily appears with some ideas about how Billy can make his tardiness up to her.

After Billy says he’s sorry for being late, Lily will wonder what big story stole his attention. Billy will explain that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) had a heart attack – and that’s not even the truly big part!

Billy will insist that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) stole Ashland’s media company from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who shut Victor out of Newman Enterprises as a result.

Billy will be impressed since Victoria basically prevented Victor from even coming in the building. It’ll dawn on Lily that Billy seems to know an awful lot about this whole situation, so she’ll question how he acquired this information.

Billy will reveal that Victoria showed up at his door as he was preparing for their date. He’ll explain that Victor forced Ashland to sign the contract while he was having his heart attack, so Victoria announced she was headed over to the ranch to confront him.

Lily will wonder if Victoria was OK with that, so Billy will admit he didn’t really give her a choice since he just showed up.

Billy will gush about how the fight was real beauty, but Lily will wonder why Victoria felt the need to go running to Billy with all this info first thing.

However, Billy will act like it was all about giving ChancComm a heads-up. Lily won’t trust Victoria’s motives, so Billy will understand – though he’ll really want to get started on their date night.

Across town, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will join Victoria in the lobby and want to know exactly what Victoria said to her father. Victoria will argue that she simply made it clear that Victor was no longer welcome to just stroll in Newman Enterprises and offer advice.

Nikki will gripe about Victoria escalating things, but Victoria will think Victor is the one who did that. Victoria will feel like she just responded and will suggest that Victor coerced Ashland when he was most vulnerable.

Nikki will ask what Victoria intends to do about it, so Victoria will note that all bets are off if the contract winds up being voided because Ashland signed under duress.

Victoria will announce that she’s done being the dutiful daughter, but Nikki will blame Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) for the conflict.

Although Victoria won’t want to make excuses for Adam, she’ll admit he’s just as much a victim in this case. She’ll insist that Victor’s name may be on the building, but that’s Victoria’s name, too.

Victoria won’t think Victor will retaliate against her since it’d be bad for business, which is what matters to Victor. Nikki will seem uneasy and will suggest that Victor’s need to control things shouldn’t be underestimated.

Victoria will insist she has that same need and learned from the best. She’ll argue that she’s going to do whatever she wants to do – and there’s nothing Victor can do to stop her.

Victoria will push Nikki to stand with her on this before revealing she’s got a late meeting with Ted from the legal department. Nikki will point out that even CEOs need to spend time with their families and sleep. Victoria will joke about sleep being for weaklings before she parts ways with Nikki for the night.

Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will put on quite a show in front of Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).

Chelsea will discuss how she was able to feed herself earlier and can now stand. She’ll laugh as she wobbles in front of Nate, who’ll think this is amazing. Chelsea will be well on her way to a full recovery as far as Nate’s concerned.

Nate will add that Chelsea can take comfort in what she’s been able to achieve so far. Chelsea will think to herself that she’s been able to drive Adam out of her life and out of town.

Nate will gently bring up the fact that Adam’s been accused of poisoning Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), so Chelsea will act like it’s not exactly shocking considering who Adam is and his past with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).

Chelsea will insist that as soon as she’s better, she’ll go be with her son and start a new life elsewhere. Once Nate leaves, Chelsea will know her plans are dependent on continuing to fool Rey.

At the coffeehouse, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) will talk about how Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines) stuck up for with a bully named Wayne. She’ll think it was really brave of Moses, especially since it was his first day at Walnut Grove.

Sharon will look somber and a bit nervous as she spots Rey in the patio area. Rey will see Sharon as well, but he’ll decide not to approach her. After Rey takes a call, he’ll be disappointed about Adam still being on the run. Rey will want to try another tactic to speed things along.

Back with Faith, she’ll talk to Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about going to rehab for the first time tomorrow. Faith will share how her first therapy session went as well – and then she’ll text Moses about having a mountain of homework to tackle.

Faith will ask if Moses wants to come rescue her again, so Moses will insist that’s his specialty and promise to be there in 10 minutes.

At the penthouse again, Chelsea will pace and grumble about Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) bailing on her. Rey will seem suspicious after he knocks and is told to enter, but Chelsea will be in her wheelchair again and will assure Rey she was just talking to herself.

When Rey explains that he wants Chelsea to bring Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) back to Genoa City and pretend he’s ill to draw Adam out of hiding, Chelsea will freak. “You want to use my son as bait?!” Chelsea will ask in shock.

Chelsea will argue that the whole point of her restraining order was so that Adam couldn’t get anywhere near Adam. She’ll add that Adam could do or say anything – even try to snatch Connor and flee the country.

Rey will promise there’s no risk involved since he’ll have undercover officers surrounding them and waiting to make an arrest.

However, Rey will warn that they’d have to make this believable. Chelsea will snap about how Connor’s father will be carted off to jail if this works. She’ll feel like it’d be too hard on Connor to think he played a role in that happening.

Chelsea will be rather appalled with Rey for even suggesting it and won’t think he cares about how it would affect Connor at all.

After Chelsea brings up Rey’s sterling reputation, she’ll wonder if he’s willing to toss it away because of Adam.

Rey will admit that he convinced himself that Connor would be safe and that the outcome made it worth it. She’ll talk about how consumed he’s become by his hatred for Adam, so Chelsea will totally understand how an Adam obsession can take over.

Rey will note that he’s scared to think about potentially doing something he might regret, but Chelsea won’t think Rey’s like “the rest of us.” Y&R spoilers say Rey will look deep in thought – like he’s been testing Chelsea the entire time and now seems to think Sharon might be right about the setup.

Back with Sharon, she’ll talk to Nick in private about how Rey moved out – though they’re just letting Faith think he’s on the nightshift for now.

Sharon will talk about having a positive conversation with Rey that was derailed by a phone call from Adam. Nick will think that stinks and will feel like Adam tends to find a way to ruin things.

Despite Nick’s gratitude over Adam rescuing Faith following her accident, he won’t give Adam a pass for his other behavior.

Sharon will note that she’s in a bind since she believes Chelsea framed Adam, but saying so makes it seen like she’s rushing to Adam’s defense. Not saying so makes it so she’s helping the real culprit get away with poisoning Rey.

Nick won’t think Sharon should be concentrating on the case right now. He’ll insist that Rey needs to feel like he’s what matters most to Sharon. Back with Nikki, she’ll show up and chat with Moses at Crimson Lights. Nikki will seem thrilled over Faith having a friend, especially one like Moses who comes from such a good family.

Faith will get some guidance about rehab and her view of it – first from Moses, then from Nikki after Moses exits. At Society again, Billy will gush over what a great meal that was. He’ll flirt with Lily as they prepare to cap off the night with some steaminess back in a hotel room.

Lily won’t seem pleased when Victoria shows up, but she’ll want to warn them about Victor having more time to go after Chancellor Communications now that she’s banned him from interfering at Newman. Although Lily will think they can handle it, Victoria won’t agree that Lily and Billy are up to the challenge.

Billy will have a steamy love scene with Lily in his suite soon after. He’ll also check out some updates on his phone regarding Victor’s purchase of Cyaxares. Victoria will see the same news and give a reporter a quote about wishing Victor the best. V

ictoria will make it clear that she’ll continue to concentrate on Newman Enterprises.

When Sharon arrives home, she’ll look around and deal with the heaviness of being totally alone. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon will hold out hope for a reunion with Rey, but things will remain complicated.
