The Young and the Restless Spoilers Update: Monday, July 19 – Tara's Ruthlessness Stuns Phyllis – Ashland Meets Victoria’s Kids

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Monday, July 19, teases that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will predict Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) victory to Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) while Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) meets Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) kids before a crisis.

At Victoria’s house on Monday’s Y&R episode, Ashland will get to know Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) and Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) before they dash off to play.

Victoria and Ashland will be glad the kids were accepting of Ashland, but he’ll have another tough spell with his breathing the moment they go upstairs.

Once Ashland’s feeling less constricted and taking deeper breaths, he’ll express his gratitude to Victoria and will confirm she has no regrets about opening her home to him.

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will express concern about this whole situation to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), but she’ll know that Victoria wouldn’t be going to such great lengths to help Ashland unless he really meant something to her.

After Billy arrives to pick up the kids, he’ll have a conversation with Ashland and ultimately Victoria.

The vibe will be tense at first, but Billy will walk away with acceptance of the situation. Billy will just want to be sure all the cards are on the table and will hope Ashland finds some joy during this difficult time.

Lily will be pleased once she gets updates on Billy’s attitude adjustment.

At the Abbott mansion, Tara will act like Ashland went too far when he scared Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) in the park.

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have some worries as well since he witnessed Harrison crying after the incident.

Tara will also claim Harrison has had multiple nightmares since Father’s monstrous outburst, so she’ll know what she has to do.

Later, Ashland will get a phone call from his attorney and relay some disturbing news to Victoria.

Ashland have to figure out his next move since Tara will file a motion for sole custody. Tara will plan to push a dying man out of her son’s life, which is a level of ruthlessness that’ll surprise even Phyllis.

Phyllis will have another fake nice meeting with Tara at The Grand Phoenix, where Phyllis will lay it on thick about Summer having the time of her life in Italy.

She’ll think it’s a pity Kyle’s stuck there suffering, but she’ll suggest this time apart will just bring Kyle and Summer back together in the end.

Tara won’t be so sure about that since Kyle’s moving on and putting Harrison first. She’ll remind Phyllis that they’d both do anything to protect their children, so she’ll think that makes them pretty similar people.

Phyllis will also find out about a date that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will ask Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to go on.

Sally will gladly rub it in that she’s winning Jack over again, but Phyllis will make it clear that she’s cozying up to Tara.

Later, Phyllis will bring Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) up to speed and vow to prove Sally is working with Tara.

Phyllis won’t think it’s a coincidence that Tara and Sally are both reaping all the benefits now that Summer’s out of the picture.

Amanda will mention that Kyle could lose Harrison without a proper custody agreement, so she’ll want Phyllis to keep that in mind if she intends to force Tara out of Genoa City.

Afterward, Phyllis won’t seem pleased over the sight of Jack and Sally on their date at Society.

While Phyllis spies on Sally and Jack, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will try to trap Sutton Ames (Jack Landron).

“The Moustache” will claim he’s in possession of an incriminating letter that Sutton might like to buy from him.

Sutton will think Victor’s bluffing about the letter from Richard Nealon, who revealed Sutton threatened him just a few days before his deadly crash.

Nevertheless, Victor will act like he has no motive to lie and only wants to reach a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Amanda will trust Victor’s sneaky strategy, but some shockers will soon bring some wild developments in this murder case.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sutton will do whatever it takes to avoid punishment, but Amanda will work just as hard to bring him down!
