The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, August 24, teases that Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) will point the finger at a new suspect. He’ll reveal a Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) clue to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and lead the detective to some security footage.
After Stitch sees a stray protein bar at the Chancellor mansion, he’ll remember a man buying a whole bunch of them.
Stitch will tell Rey about some shady guy at the convenience store who had a boatload of these bars.
Since Mariah often ate this type of bar before she was snatched, Stitch will speculate that the kidnapper bought plenty and has been offering them to her.
Rey will confirm what day Stitch visited the convenience store and will get in touch with the store owner.
Detective Rosales will hope for a clear shot of the suspect’s face when he watches the surveillance footage, but there’ll be some hiccup with the system that prevents it.
It’ll be a bummer when Rey strikes out, but he won’t give up on finding Mariah. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and all Mariah’s loved ones are counting on Rey, so he’ll be extra motivated to find her ASAP.
Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) is a tech whiz, so he’ll do his best to sort through all the scrambling and figure out where Mariah’s phone is.
While Kevin tries to pinpoint Mariah’s whereabouts, Stitch will continue to support Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) through this ordeal. He’ll pretend he’s making himself useful, but something tells us it may all be for show!
Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will hang out with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), who’ll share some wonderful updates.
It turns out Traci’s working on a new project, so Jack should be delighted once he gets the scoop.
This should be the pick-me-up Jack needs after leaving Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) in Milan.
Other Y&R spoilers say Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will come through for Moses Winters (Jacob Aaron Gaines).
Moses will get guidance that points him in a positive direction, so he’ll definitely appreciate the help.
Although Moses is still struggling to nail down his career goals, it might be dating advice he needs on Tuesday, August 24.
Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) recently agreed to move out of the friend zone, but Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) could be a hurdle for Moses to conquer.
Nick adores Faith and knows she’s been through a lot over the last couple years, so he’ll want to prevent a broken heart.
Although Nick knows Moses is a good kid, he still has to watch out for his daughter.
Maybe Nate and Devon can give Moses some tips on impressing Faith’s father and tell him the best way to enter romantic territory with the girl he’s falling for.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Devon will eventually shift his focus back to Mariah and all the kidnapping chaos, so stay tuned for more movement in that storyline.
