The Young and the Restless Spoilers Update: Tuesday, July 20 – Police Called for Kidnapped Mariah – Adam’s Sharon Risk

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 20, teases that the cops will be needed for kidnapped Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) while Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) takes a big risk. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will also make sure a promise is kept, so there’ll be a lot going on in Tuesday’s action-packed episode.

At the Chancellor mansion, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will feel the strain of Mariah’s disappearance.

The vague texts they’ve been getting will no longer be good enough, especially since Tessa suggested that someone might’ve taken Mariah.

This is something the police need to be brought in on, so that’ll surely become part of the conversation on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.

Tessa has already been eager to get the police in on it, but she admitted to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) that she knew it was too soon.

However, it may no longer be too soon once Tuesday rolls around. Tessa may want to fill a detective in at the GCPD and hopefully get to the bottom of all this.

Of course, Tessa will remain worried that she’s somehow to blame for the danger Mariah has apparently landed in.

Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) put that idea in Tessa’s idea, so it’ll be a hard one to shake.

It’s doubtful this case is about any old enemies or new stalkers, but Abby might make some comments that suggest she feels Tessa is at fault.

Tessa may also feel like Abby’s more concerned about the baby than Mariah herself, which is something else that could contribute to the conflict that’s brewing.

Stitch may have to intervene since we know Abby and Tessa’s fighting will get a bit out of control.

Unfortunately, suspicious Stitch just might know far more than he’s letting on! It’ll be interesting to see if Stitch is the one holding Mariah hostage.

Across town, Adam will have a tense meeting with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) – mainly because any meeting between Nikki and Adam is tense!

On the bright side, Nikki will concede that Adam seems to be saying and doing all the right things.

Adam will be passing the test as far as Nikki’s concerned, but she may offer another warning not to betray Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

If Adam can do that, Nikki can learn to live with him being a real part of the Newman clan. Adam could make waves when he finds Sharon near closing time at Crimson Lights soon.

At some point in the next couple episodes, Adam will let Sharon know he misses her and will make a vague admission about wanting her back.

Adam can’t push this too far or he’ll look like the manipulative Adam of the past, but he’ll remain attracted to Sharon and will at least allude to what’s in his heart. This is a risk that’ll be worth it in Adam’s eyes.

As for Amanda, her faith in Victor will turn out to be a good thing. Victor can be an incredible ally when he wants to be!

Victor will keep the promise he made to help Amanda trap Sutton Ames (Jack Landron), but his news regarding the scheme could take a backseat to the missing Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) chaos that’s brewing.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda and Victor’s partnership will come with some other curveballs, so don’t miss what’s in store.
