The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 1, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will make a ruthless move against Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) while Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) makes a life-changing decision.
For starters, Victor will make it clear that Billy’s going down personally and professionally. He’ll decide it’s time to stop handling Billy with kid gloves and will take a bold stand against him. It sounds like a major confrontation is coming up where Victor and Billy put it all out there.
Victor was planning to let Billy think they’d accepted his offer, but he may ultimately assume Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is forcing Billy to step down anyway. With that in mind, Victor may insist there’s no deal – though he won’t mind all that much if Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) defeats him in the war for ChancComm.
As long as Victoria’s motivation is about doing what’s best for Newman-Locke rather than protecting Billy, Victor will be OK with her bid for the company. His main goal will remain crushing Billy in every way possible, so he’ll take a more hostile approach on Wednesday’s Y&R episode and pour salt in the wound.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Victor will just throw in the towel when it comes to acquiring ChancComm for Newman Media. Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will hope to drive the price up through a good old-fashioned bidding war later this week, but she’ll have something else to work out first.
Jill offers to let Lily take over as the new head of ChancComm on Tuesday, so Lily will have a big decision to make on Wednesday’s show. Naturally, Lily may insist on waiting until she talks to Billy first. She’d be a huge hypocrite if she accepted this offer without even consulting Billy since she’s always on his case about making impulsive, unilateral decisions.
Lily may also need some time to mull over this choice for herself, so Jill may be left in suspense a bit longer. In the meantime, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will make a phone call to those waiting for updates in Genoa City. Victor and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will eventually get the shocking news of Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) survival.
Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will soon find out about Chance being alive as well, but Chance should remain wary about the danger involved here. It’ll also be tough for Chance to abandon the rest of the mission when he’s so close to bringing down the top dog.
Even so, it seems Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will win the battle to bring Chance home where he belongs. Chance will be back in GC before you know it, so more reunions are ahead. As other Y&R details become available, we’ll fill you in.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chance will face plenty of challenges as he tries to settle back into his old life. CDL’s where you want to be for exciting Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so stop by regularly.
